The Year 2026 is going to be really interesting, showcasing some exciting new releases in the world of Pokémon UNITE. To this end, the Pokémon Company has announced that the Legendary bird Trio Pokémon will be joining the growing roster of their popular MOBA, Pokémon UNITE, soon. Zapdos arrives on February 27th, followed by two new Legendary Pokémon

The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that the next Pokémon to be released in Pokémon UNITE is Zapdos. It is a powerful Electric-type Legendary Bird Pokémon.

Previously a wild Pokémon, Zapdos will now become playable starting this month. Articuno and Moltres are going to follow after, although no specific dates have been announced yet.

I personally can’t wait for this new batch of Pokémon releases, especially since Zapdos will no longer be a wild Pokémon but a playable character. This will surely add a fun new twist to the gam,e given how strong Zapdos was as a Wild Pokémon.

Another important feature that’d be following this update is the new Battle Moves system. Starting February 27th, you’ll be able to pre-select the moves your Pokémon will learn during battle. This will help alleviate the stress on your decision-making during the heat of a battle.

That’s all for the upcoming Pokémon releases in Pokémon UNITE. Read more of our Pokémon Unite content!
