Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7 “Champions Never Fall to the Past” update will release on March 24, 2026

HoYoverse has revealed that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7, titled “Champions Never Fall to the Past,” will launch on March 24, 2026. This update centers around the massive Hollow Champion competition, and alongside it also comes two new Agents, new events, and more.

The Hollow Champion competition takes over New Eridu in ZZZ Version 2.7

So, Hollow Champion tournament is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in New Eridu. Hosted by TOPS, competitors from diverse factions are gathering to take part in the contest, hoping to get valuable rewards like the rare Porcelloy W Engine and more.

And many familiar groups will such as the Cunning Hares and the Sons of Calydon also appear during the event. But at the same time, unexpected participants including members of the Public Security Metropolitan Order Division also joins the competition.

And that’s how the two new Agents are introduced for this update as rumors also spread about other mysterious challengers joining the tournament. One of them is Cissia of the Metropolitan Order Division and the other is captain and lead dancer of he Angels of Delusion lineup, Nangong Yu.

ZZZ Version 2.7 update will feature two new S-tier agents

Zenless Zone Zero Version brings two powerful new S-Rank agents with the Version 2.7 update, and they’re as follows:

1. Cissia

So, Cissia is an S-Rank Electric Attack agent, who uses stacks of Venom to boost crit rate and deal continuous electric damage during combat. And as the Venom stacks build up with her EX Special Attack. you can unleash bursts of damage using the Basic Attack: Serpent’s Kiss.

2. Nangong Yu

Alongside her comes Nangong Yu, an S-Rank Ether Stun Agent, that focuses on increasing the team’s Anomaly Buildup Rate against Stunned enemies. You also automatically regenerates Downbeat over time, and if your teammates deal Anomaly to enemies during battle, it restores additional ones.

And once you accumulate enough, you can use powerful charged attacks that also extend enemies’ stun durations while accelerating your own Stun and anomaly buildup. Her ultimate also boosts the entire squad’s attack by activating the Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise.

Along with these two, ZZZ Version 2.7 update also brings:

• For Version 2.7’s rerun banners, S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent Yidhari and Electric Attack Agent Seed will arrive.
• Nangong Yu is coming with her new outfit, Rhapsody’s Muse.
• And, you can unlock an exclusive faction wallpaper after collecting all members of Angels of Delusion.

ZZZ Version 2.7 brings new events and rewards

Like all the previous version updates, you can also look forward to various events and activities, and they’re as follows:

• Chronicle of Simmering Flavors Event: Lumina Square’s Simmer Hot Pot Restaurant is the main focus of a themed event where you’ll help Blaze with a new problem while taking part in a playful hot pot–themed activity to get the A-Rank W-Engine The Simmering Pot for free.
• Angels of Delusion Event: You can obtain exclusive idol-themed gifts like Sweet Daydream pendant, Sweet Daydream theme, and Delusions in Progress dynamic wallpaper by inviting Angels of Delusion members to your squad. It will become a Standard Event after the update.
• Simulated Battle Trial: So, this is also getting an update with new enemy lineups and extra mechanics. Thanks to the update, you can now push for higher scores on the leaderboard while earning rewards like Polychromes, a namecard, and exclusive titles.
• HSOS 6 Special Mission: This introduces a relay-like combat challenge where you must fight using three separate two-member squads.
