Pokémon Unite has reached its first reward tier, which is 1 million pre-registrations on mobile. Therefore, the first gift has been unlocked for the players to claim once the mobile version launches. The reward includes 1000 free Aeos Tickets. There are two more goals still left to be reached. Today, the game’s official Twitter account has posted the news of reaching the milestone.
Rewards for pre-registration of Pokémon Unite
After the announcement regarding the mobile release of Pokémon Unite, the publishers have set three rewards tiers. The first one has been completed today. The latter two are still left to be completed.
- Reaching 1 million pre-registration will unlock 1000 free Aeos Tickets.
- On 2.5 million pre-registrations, participants will receive a Pikachu Unite license upon release.
- If the 5 million pre-registration goal is reached, players will receive a special Holowear-Festival Style: Pikachu!
Players will receive all their claimable incentives by the date of October 31, 2021. It is unclear how the gifts will be provided. There’s a probability to receive the gifts via in-game mail.
It is a common strategy for game developers and publishers before launching a game, to let it release with a set of pre-registration milestones for the game. Players who have registered for the game before the release, upon hitting the target, will be awarded various in-game items. Pokémon Unite has also set three milestones for the players, reaching each will unlock new awards for the players.
The first reward tier has been reached in less than a week. So, it is likely that the next two goals will be reached soon.
About Pokémon Unite
Pokémon Unite, the MOBA title from Nintendo, was announced on the date of June 24, 2020. The game was available only for Nintendo Switch before Nintendo announced a mobile release of the game on August 18, 2021. The announcement said that both Android and iOS users will be able to download and play the game from the date of September 22, 2021. Pokémon Unite is currently available for pre-registration for Android and iOS on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store respectively.
