After the ban of PUBG Mobile in India, the gaming community has seen a lot of ups and downs. The latest incident is the split between Fnatic India and India’s one of the best players and biggest influencers Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOp. Before the PMPL South Asia 2020, Fnatic confirmed that there will be some changes in the roster. This is really heartbreaking for the fans of both. In this article, we will talk about this shocking update as Fnatic India finally confirmed on their Instagram handle that Scout will be leaving the squad.
The beginning of Fnatic India with ScoutOp
After the PUBG Mobile Club Open: Spring Split 2019, Sc0ut left Team Insidious to join SouL. But due to some conflicts, this dream move never happened. After this incident, Sc0ut made a team with Ronak, Owais, InYoDreams and Paritosh named Team Xspark. Both Ronak and Owais were an important part of team SouL back then. It was also a rumour that Fnatic is coming to India. And this happened, Fnatic came and hired Xspark as their PUBG Mobile lineup. With three of the biggest India’s PUBGM stars, this lineup was star-studded.
This lineup first played in PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split: 2019. Their gameplay was not as per the expectation of the fans and audiences. They came 14th and failed to qualify for the global finals. Later that year, they won PUBG Mobile All-Stars tournament. But guess what? They won it without Scout, Sangwan replaced him for this tournament. It seemed that they were doing well without Scout. They also brought Pratik ‘Aurum’ Mehra as the coach of the team. Things were going smooth.
Where did things go wrong for Fnatic & Scout?
After some months it was heard that there were some conflicts between the players and the coach. Scout raged on some of his teammates and his coach. This resulted in a crack in the team. Although everything seemed alright onscreen but fans and viewers were understanding that there was something going on between the players. Constant inconsistent results, controversies were also proving the same thing. The other players of the team said on stream that the chemistry and the gameplay of Scout and them were not matching. Scout wanted an aggressive team and the players were passive. This belief became strong when the team dropped Scout from the starting lineup of PUBG Mobile Pro League Season zero, just after playing first 4-5 matches.
End of the Scout – Fnatic bond
Franky, Ash, Maxkash, TheDude joined the team. InYodreams and Ronak left and scout was dropped permanently after the PMPL. He stayed in Fnatic as a content creator and joined Orange Rock eSports as a competitive player. It was a loan move at that time. Though it was almost sure that he is going to leave Fnatic, it was just a matter of time. He played the PUBG Mobile World League from Orange Rock and came 2nd. Meanwhile, Fnatic played PUBG mobile India Series 2020 with the new lineup and became the runner-up of the tournament following TSM-Entity.
After Fnatic finally announced that they will be parting ways with ScoutOp on their social media platforms, what will follow is a thing to wait and watch. We’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned!
