A few days back, PUBG Mobile announced the Team Up Challenge 2021, comprising a select group of international celebrities and over 70 influencers. One of PUBG Mobile’s biggest events of the year, the star-studded Team Up Challenge 2021, has now concluded after a thrilling tournament. After the tournament ended, PUBG Mobile announced the Team Up Challenge 2021 champions for the various regions. Along with these awards, several exciting new partnerships were revealed that the players and fans can look forward to in the coming days.
PUBG Mobile Team Up Challenge 2021 champions
PUBG Mobile has now revealed the regional champions of this year’s edition of Team Up Challenge and here they are:
- Middle East / North Africa – Champion team led by Nasrat
- Europe – Champion team led by FROZENNX
- Southeast Asia – Champion team led by ZAN
- North America – Champion team led by Wynnsanity
- South America – Champion team led by Lu Power
At a special awards ceremony which was held after the finals, a total of 30 awards were presented to honor outstanding achievements during the competition. Five different titles were awarded in each of the six participating regions: Best In-Game Leader, Most Funny, Rising Star, Igniter Award (most inspirational), and Favourite Content Creator.
Moreover, Powerbang was awarded for his contributions to the event as the Best MC Award. Other notable winners honored during the ceremony included Panda as Favorite Content Creator for North America, BTR Alice as Favorite Content Creator for Southeast Asia, and Wynnsanity who won the award for Most Funny Content Creator for North America.
A huge congratulations to all of our champion teams on their epic victories. This has been one of the most action-packed, nail-biting tournaments and it’s been amazing to see all of the teams bring their A-game. Several exciting new partnerships revealed for players to look forward in the game
Along with the awards ceremony, many exciting new partnerships were also revealed that fans can look forward to in the coming weeks. This included the teased return of world-renowned artist and DJ Alan Walker to the game.
Alan Walker previously partnered with PUBG Mobile in 2019 to release new singles ‘On My Way’ and ‘Live Fast’ in-game and celebrated the first year anniversary of the game. Teasers were revealed about this new collaboration that will be coming to the game, more details of which will be released in the near future.
Following the success of the Godzilla vs Kong crossover, devs have revealed a new partnership with Jujutsu Kaisen. The world-famous anime and manga series will be launching new collaborative content coming soon in the game.
Finally, as part of the focus on cutting-edge architecture that the Version 1.5 update recently brought to the game, it has now partnered with Zaha Hadid Architects to further enhance the innovative in-game designs.
Collaborating with visionary clients, communities, and industry experts on more than 60 projects in development, Zaha Hadid Architects hugely talented and dedicated teams of almost 500 experienced professionals work with passion and commitment to honor Zaha Hadid’s legacy and deliver transformational projects on six continents. This partnership will be bringing Zaha Hadid Architects’ cutting-edge designs to future map updates for players to enjoy.
Ban Pan system ready to be implemented to prevent hacks and cheats in PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile continues its efforts to provide a fair and equitable gaming environment to the players. And in this process, the unique and integrated Ban Pan system is now being implemented in the game. This will work to detect and collect samples of the latest cheats and unauthorized plug-ins to Monitor and Protect players with all-around protection in-game.
This will function along with systematically punishing cheaters through bans and season wipes. The combined use of Monitor and Protect means that Ban Pan is capable of identifying cheating players, and applying the corresponding penalties, in a timely manner.
With more than 700,000 volunteers making up the Security Zone Anti-cheat taskforce, additional titles will be awarded to the best investigators who tirelessly report undue process. All players on Spawn Island will receive a notification when an elite investigator arrives on the island. As more players sign up to become anti-cheat investigators, further rewards and missions will be added, thus continuing the game’s commitment to providing a fair and fun battleground for all.
Apart from all these in-game things, the PUBG Mobile Next Star Program is also now underway. This program features a $100 million reward pool which is the largest in content creation history. Content creators can gain access to exclusive rewards, training, and opportunities to gain even greater exposure.
Participants will also get early-bird access to new game updates and have the chance to pit their skills against pro-players at various official esports events. The program has already launched in Asia and will eventually extend to a global level at a later date.
