Ubisoft has officially announced Rainbow Six Siege Mobile, a more portable version of their popular title which was earlier available on PC and Consoles, for Android and iOS.
The trailer looks really cool and resembles the original version a lot with some actual gameplay footage, which is great news as now, the tactical 5v5 experience is making its way to mobile in all of its glory. This includes destructible walls, spy cameras, traps, and more in well-known maps straight out of the PC/ Console version like Bank and Border.
According to the announcement blog post this title has been in the works for 3 years at this point! The game seems to be close to completion as they’ve mentioned upcoming closed alpha tests in the post too.

Experience the complete Rainbow Six Siege on mobile devices
All that being said, this is some great news as players have yet another AAA title heading over to mobile platforms, joining a list of major upcoming games like Valorant Mobile, Overwatch Mobile, Warzone Mobile, and more. Now while this seems like a full version of the game scaled down for mobile, one line from the blog post “Rainbow Six Mobile will give you the opportunity to play the game you love in short, accessible bursts” might indicate shorter game durations and modes.
When will Rainbow Six Mobile globally release
The game will be free and there’s been quite a bit of work on the UI and controls to optimize it for mobile. For now, there are no hints on the official release date of Rainbow Six Mobile. However, players can register for the upcoming Alpha test. The complete process is written below.
