Princess Irdabama is on a mission from the Shah to develop a profitable commerce route across Persia, but she won’t be able to accomplish it alone. Players in Rise of Cultures will help her royal highness by fulfilling tasks and delivering water jars (known as Ewers) to a commerce caravan traveling throughout the nation. Today is the first day of the Persian event of Rise of Cultures, which will go through May 22nd, 2022.
Complete tasks and get closer to the Grand Prize map
In order to proceed through the event, players must complete the goals set by Irdabama. Completing these tasks gives tokens, which players may spend to access the chests in the event window. However, new visuals have been added to show players’ progress towards the Grand Prize: a map of the ever-expanding trade route. The player moves across the map with each uncovered treasure, while Irdabama describes how trade caravans were founded in Ancient Persia and provides some fascinating historical context to her quest.
The Grand Prize is provided when players reach the far end of the map: the Persian Palace Evolution Token. The gorgeous Persian Palace will feature culture bonuses, mix chests, and the opportunity to earn Little Culture modification kits that can equip players with the Achaemenid Soldier – a statue that provides a useful health boost to ranged units. The Persian Palace may also be upgraded all the way to level 40, with each level bringing new architectural alterations to the building.
During the event, players can add a Persian flavor to their lands by building four new homes, a Tea Tent, four new types of farms, sculptures, a tower, and a mosaic pavilion. All of these new building variants come with bonuses, ranging from increased culture and HP to increased food, attack, and goods.
During the Rise of Cultures Persian event, 2022 players have a lot to accomplish with 124 quests to complete, with the Free Currency Quest tossed in for good measure, and only 20 days to do it in.
