Rocket League Sideswipe, the highly anticipated mobile version of the popular PC and Console game, is now out in select regions after the first announcement in March. Players residing in Oceania and South America can directly head to the game’s Play Store or App Store page for their Android and iOS devices. However, if you aren’t from those regions, you can either pre-register for Rocket League Sideswipe and wait for the release or follow the steps given below to download RL Sideswipe right now.
Update: As of 30th November today, the game is now officially available worldwide for download on both Android and iOS.
How to download Rocket League Sideswipe on Android
- Use a VPN and set the location to Australia
- Create a new account on the Google Play Store
- Skip the option to add your mobile number
- Accept the TnCs
- Click here and download the game.
- Keep your VPN on to play it
How to download Rocket League Sideswipe on iOS
- Go to the App Store and sign out of your current Apple ID.
- Click on Sign In and choose the option which allows you to create a new Apple ID.
- Select Australia as your region and then fill in the rest of the details. Then, click Next
- Fill in the rest of the details required
- Select None as the Payment Method
- Fill in the verification code you received in your email.
- Click here to download the game.
Psyonix, the developers and publishers of the games, have made the announcement themselves and while the game is only available in Oceania right now, more regions will be coming soon this month as the game prepares for worldwide launch.
It is a 1v1/ 2v2 version of the game although it features shorter gameplay time and a different viewing angle and gameplay. Once Rocket League Sideswipe is available worldwide by the end of this year, it’ll have its first season.
