Rovio Classics: Angry Birds: The classic game’s remastered version is now globally available

The game the world fell in love with is back!

The wait for the classics is over as the remastered version of the original Angry Birds game is now available all across the world on Android and iOS devices! This was indeed not an early April Fool’s Prank as many suspected but Rovio stayed faithful to the release date they had announced. The game’s description says- “Rebuilt from the ground up, Rovio Classics: Angry Birds is a faithful remake of the original Angry Birds game that took the world by storm!

The remastered version of Angry Birds comes as a premium title for the players

This remastered version of Angry Birds features the 8 original episodes including 390+ levels, the original characters (including Might Eagle for no extra cost), no ads, and no IAPs. However, one cool detail that leads to quite a bit of speculation is the game’s title. Rovio Classics: Angry Birds seems to imply that this is actually a whole series, of which Angry Birds is just a part.

This means that other old titles like Angry Birds Space could also be making a return under the Rovio Classics series. Rovio had previously announced this project last year and apologized for going down the dark route of ads and annoying monetization systems (although they still are releasing titles that have those so not a lot has changed).

That being said though, for the low price of $0.99 (or the equivalent in your own currency), you can relive the past once again in all of its glory without any annoying ads or microtransactions being forced upon you. All said and done, Rovio Classics: Angry Birds is now available to download both in the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iPhones and iPads.
