Stardew Valley developer apologizes for the delay in the version 1.5 update for mobile

The wait for the awaited version 1.5 update just got longer!

Stardew Valley is a game that was due for an update, the game was released on a large array of platforms ranging from Console to Mobile. The mobile version however was lacking some of the features available in the PC and Console versions of the game. The developers, ConcernedApe promised the users an update, namely Stardew Valley Version 1.5 before year-end, however reportedly the developers failed to live up to their promise and issued an apology through their handle on Twitter.

The update is focused on adding the missing features to the mobile version

Version 1.5 was mainly focused on adding back the changes that were made to the mobile version for boosting the performance issues on mobile, for many months fans gave been complaining about the lack of PC and Console type experience which was due to the removal of several features from the mobile versions due to performance issues.

The PC and Console versions got the update in 2020 but for the Mobile version it was due for quite some time and by recent posts, we don’t think that the update can still take up some time.

The developers while taking it to their official Twitter account mentioned how hard they tried to complete it on the given deadline but have failed to do so and will require an additional week to ensure the quality of the end product. The fans saw the brighter side of this whole incident and complimented the team for their transparency while wishing them a very happy new year.

Version 1.5 will add new content to the game, it comes with an extra large size map and aims to add quality to the game. The update will focus on expanding the map with new locations and NPCs to add and interact with.

The game will also add new types of farms which the players will be able to build from scratch and also will be able to have new pets as their companions. All in all the new Stardew Valley version 1.5 update will freshen up the game and provide the complete experience to the fans that they were longing for.
