Supercell releases animated short ‘Lost and Crowned’ based on Clash of Clans and Clash Royale

Get ready to watch the first ever Clash Animated Short soon!

The latest announcement from Supercell is not about a game update. In fact, it is a unique work aside from their games which is based on the popular titles – Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. Recently, through all of their social media handles Supercell shared the teaser of a surprisingly new concept that was under works for three months. The teaser was of a new Clash Animated Short Lost and Crowned, the first of its kind from the world of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. Although animated clips aren’t new from them, the team has announced that this is unique and will offer a different storyline, unlike the other shorts from them.

About Lost and Crowned from the word of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale

As mentioned above, Lost and Crowned is an animated short film from the Supercell team, which will revolve around Brothers Peter and Larry. From the teaser, we can make out that the Elder brother works in a Palace, and is tasked to guard the King’s crown. While Larry is brought to work by Peter to help him guard the King’s Crown, the little brother erupts chaos in the palace. It makes the job gets a lot harder for the elder sibling and things get messy. As the ending says, Little brother, big problems! How Peter will save his day from the troubles pulled upon by his brother forms the rest of the story.

Development of Lost and Crowned

On 9th July 2020, Sound Editor Mac Smith announced on his Twitter about a new project he’s working on. Although there wasn’t any mention of the project, after nearly working for three months, Mac mentioned that he was working on Lost and Crowned and expressed his fun to be working on it. His tweet read this:

Along with Mac, there were a couple of other collaborations too. Psyop, a well-known VFX and animation designing team, Skywalker Sound, a Full-service audio post-production company joined hands in helping this project to go into full force.

Other animated shorts from Clash of Clans

This is not the first time that the Supercell team has come up with animated short clips. However, none of them got a solo release. They were released like a series of Clash of Clans characters engaging in humorous discussions and situations. The most popular from the recent memory is Clash-A-Rama, which were animated short skits involving popular troops such as Goblins, Giant, Hog Riders, etc. as characters. It ran for two seasons and was very popular, and also holds the highest views on the channel.
