SuperScale raised $5.4 million in its series A round to expand its revenue-growth services

SuperScale, a leader in game management and publishing services and the revenue growth engine for the gaming industry has announced that it has raised $5.4 million (€5 million) in a Series A fundraising round. SuperScale, which has collaborated with major game publishers like  Electronic Arts (EA), Fingersoft, and Big Fish Games, will be able to expand its market-leading services in order to alter commercial effectiveness throughout a game’s whole infrastructure thanks to the funds.

SuperScale, a 2015 startup, provides a thorough SaaS analytics platform that aids in the identification of revenue-boosting tactics for game creators and publishers, as well as professional publishing and game management services to increase game revenue.

Following a tiny seed round in 2020, the company’s Series A round, which was headed by Venture to Future Fund and included Across Private Investments and Zero One Hundred, is its first significant capital raising. SuperScale has successfully expanded since then to become a 70-person organisation with locations in London, Bratislava, and Gdask.

The new funding will enable SuperScale to expand its revenue-growth services and offer them to more developers

With the additional cash, SuperScale will be able to increase the number of developers and publishers who may access its revenue-growth services globally. Included in this is its ground-breaking “Venture Publishing” strategy, in which SuperScale invests in its clients’ games and directly manages their marketing, revenue, and LiveOps. A revenue share of the additional profit the games subsequently make is used to pay back this investment.

For nearly 10 years SuperScale has been quietly gaining traction with its unique blend of data and professional services – combined with a ‘grow games or go home’ approach. In 2023, it’s arguably more difficult than ever for companies to scale their games, so it felt like time to expand the scope and depth of our services to support more developers and publishers to succeed. This funding endorses the incredible hard work of our team, and will help us hit major milestones in our ambitious roadmap as we drive rapid growth for SuperScale and our customers alike.

After Apple’s privacy-first policy changes in 2021, SuperScale is seeing an extraordinary increase in demand that is being driven by the business model modifications that have been made to mobile gaming. In addition to its Bratislava headquarters, the company added offices in London in 2022 and Gdask in 2023, more than doubling its headcount since 2019.
