Tarisland Interview video highlights game creation as second closed beta test commences this November 15th

The upcoming fantasy MMORPG Tarisland is all set for another closed beta that test kicks off this November 15, 2023, and the excitement is high for the same. Adding to that, the new developer video that has been shared showcases the game creation, while also discussing some important topics like non-pay-to-win or having excessive grinding excluded in Tarisland.

Cross-platform support was Tarisland’s direction during R&D, says Producer

In the video, Guoshi, the CEO of LocoJoy, and Yangmin, the Game Director, delved into various topics, commencing with their journey in this MMORPG creation. Guoshi shared that the idea behind the same was because of the love that stemmed from the genre where he and his creative team have shared the experience of playing such games and reliving the journey.

Regarding the world’s creation in Tarisland, Yangmin explained that every player typically has an initial impression of what an MMO should look like. Their initial goal was to craft a Western fantasy MMO, all the while paying homage to classic elements of the genre. It’s also worth noting that the game will feature a 24-hour system with varying weather conditions, including sunny, rainy, and foggy days, aimed at enhancing the overall excitement and immersion for players.

Speaking of PC and Mobile experiences, Yangmin stated that cross-platform compatibility was the direction they were in during research. She added: “In terms of the UI and UE experience, we have customized different screen layouts and operation logic based on the habits of cross-platform players. We hope that the PC version can capture the immersive feeling of an MMO and the ultimate dungeon-raiding experience, while the mobile version can fulfill the needs for daily tasks and map exploration.”

The developers emphasized that Tarisland is not a pay-to-win (P2W) game by stating that their primary goal is to ensure that players do not have to spend excessive amounts of money or time, allowing them to enjoy the game’s seasons at their own pace and without unfair advantages gained through monetary investments.

Tarisland second closed beta test will kick off for PC and Android

The second Closed Beta for Tarisland is set to commence on November 15, 2023, for PC and Android players in select regions including Argentina, Brazil, Europe, Southeast Asia, Canada, and North America to embark on their adventures in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. In the upcoming playtest, Tarisland will introduce nine different classes for players to explore and utilize, with the added challenge of two PvE raids. Furthermore, the game will offer exciting new content for PvP enthusiasts, including one Arena and two Battlegrounds, so this test offers a lot of content. As for the release date is concerned, Tarisland is scheduled for release on iOS, Android, and PC in the first quarter of 2024.
