Tencent Game Developers Conference (TGDC) is an annual event initiated by Tencent Game Academy to promote the co-construction of the industry’s ecosystem and vigorous development. It aims to build an open communication platform to share the latest game development experience, industry, and academic development trends, etc. In 2021, Tencent Game Developers Conference will be held from November 22 to 24.
Also, it is worth knowing that TGDC is different from the Annual Tencent Games Conference.
Tencent Game Developers Conference 2021: Everything you need to know
As it is the 5th year of TGDC, the theme of the conference will be “Five by Five” and it will provide 7 special sessions on main forums, products, technology, art, markets, indie games, and game social values in an open online format. More practitioners, professionals, and game enthusiasts can participate in it, help the healthy development of the game industry, and explore more possibilities of the game.
During the conference, Tencent Game Academy will also release the second season of the industry documentary “Yu Zhong Zhi Yan” focusing on the Chinese game industry and the theme of “predecessors and younger generations in the gaming circle”. And after two years of preparation, Tencent Game Academy invited a number of technical experts to jointly precipitate a number of original technical solutions, and the assembled and published “Tencent Game Development Essence II” will also be officially launched at this conference.

The whole event will be divided into 7 special sessions along with nearly 40 important guests who will be exploring the future of the game industry together.
