The Pokémon Company has pledged $25 million to help and support underprivileged children

Five-year mission dedicated to supporting children!

Through video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, anime, and other mediums, the Pokémon brand has been bringing happiness and enjoyment to people all over the world for 25 years. The Pokémon Company International, the corporation in charge of the brand outside of Asia, declared today that it would donate at least $25 million USD to charities working to advance social justice and the lives of children over the following five years.

The Pokémon Company will deliver $25 million over 5 years to different organizations

The $25 million will mostly be realized as monetary contributions to a predefined number of groups that assist children, work to build just communities, or both. The commitment will be completed by giving the gift of play in the form of in-kind gifts of Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Center goods to organizations that can provide toys and games to deserving families and kids. The Pokémon Company International wants to work with each organization as a long-term strategic partner for at least five years. Over the course of the campaign, additional organizations that reflect the company’s charitable objective might be added.

The Pokémon Company will be working with organizations at all levels

The Pokémon Company International has recognized organizations operating in three geographic categories: global, regional, and local as a brand with a global fanbase and as a global corporate citizen. The first group consists of organizations that operate without boundaries and assist children in need everywhere, while organizations working at the regional level are those that are located in nations where the Pokémon brand is well-known in Europe, Latin America, North America, and Oceania.
