When it comes to revenue, I am not really surprised to see Tencent remain far ahead of everyone else. The publisher generated an impressive $498.1 million during May, mainly thanks to powerhouse titles like Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile, which continue to bring in huge amounts of player spending every month.

Century Games held onto the second spot with $229.8 million in revenue. They do well when they get updates and have good systems that keep players interested. Take-Two Interactive is in place, with $116.1 million. They are doing okay this month.

King and Scopely continue to be major revenue drivers as well, earning $113 million and $105 million, respectively, through their well-established mobile franchises. NetEase and Roblox Corporation complete the top ten and continue to demonstrate strong global performance. Meanwhile, Supercell, FUNFLY PTE. LTD., Moon Active, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and HoYoverse remain part of the rankings thanks to their dedicated communities and regular content updates.

Final Thoughts

May 2026 was a lot like the months before it. There were no changes in the rankings. The big names are still doing well especially when it comes to making money. May 2026 still has the names on top. Casual games and hyper-casual games are still the downloaded games.

The game industry seems to be stuck in a routine. A few games that have been popular for a time and some strong game series are what keep the game industry stable from one month, to the next. May 2026 is an example of this.
