37games.Japan has announced the launch of its latest open-world MMORPG, Soul Land: Awakening World, now available on both Android and iOS. Apparently, this is also the first-ever 3D MMORPG in the beloved Soul Land IP, authorized by both the original novel and anime. The IP is known for hits like Soul Land Reloaded, Soul Land: New World, and more.

So, Soul Land: Awakening World is a 3D open-world MMORPG that lets you step into the beloved Soul Land universe and meet iconic characters like Tang San, Xiao Wu, the legendary Seven Monsters, and the Spirit Temple Elders. You can also discover their stories while encountering unique Spirits and Spirimon across diverse locations, from tranquil forests to hidden lakes.
Gameplay-wise, you can explore the vast world that spans Saint Village, Icebound Forest, Aster Forest, and the Isle of Poseidon. Along the way, you can even scout for hidden treasures, dive into ancient caves to hunt Spirimon, and even challenge the Spirimasters at Spirit Temple. And one of the best parts is the faithfully recreated combat system, bringing aerial maneuvers, dodges, fluid skill execution, and more to battles.
And the battles look fun, since you can switch between Spirits on the fly, customize tactical loadouts, and also take advantage of attribute strengths for the upper hand as you defeat other Spiritmasters in PvP duels. The Spirit hunting also looks promising, letting you absorb Halos and Spiribones to unlock new powers.
