Tower of Fantasy will be releasing some fresh new characters as version 2.5 continues its course in the game. According to recent announcements one of the characters that were released in the CN version of the game, called Rubilia, is set to be released in the Global version of Tower of Fantasy on June 3rd, 2023.
Tower of Fantasy Rubilia: Abilities
As with every other playable Simulacrum and their weapons in the game, there is a clear distinct difference between the CN and the Global characters when it comes to the damage percentages and multipliers. Many of the times, when the characters are released in Global they are significantly nerfed. This is the same case with Rubilia seeing as we have gathered all the leaked information regarding her Global release.
Rubilia’s Advancements:
In Rubilia’s Advancement One, after Feedback is triggered, each Crystamax thorn will deal damage equal to 53.3% of ATK to nearby targets every 2 seconds, lasting 30 seconds. This is a significant percentage decrease than in the CN version which has it at 193.3%.
On the other hand, in Rubilia’s Advancement Six, after successfully releasing Harrah’s Embrace, volt damage is increased by 8% for 30 seconds. Another nerf in the Global version of Rubilia compared to her CN counterpart which had the damage multiplier be on 20% instead.
Rubilia’s Skill and Discharge:
Field (Skill)
Dash rapidly between two points 10 times, drawing in nearby targets and dealing damage equal to 371.7% to nearby targets. Up to landing, deal damage equal to 1983.3% to nearby targets. Cooldown 20 seconds.
Each dash absorbs 10% of the Max HP of all Crystamax thorns (unavailable in Apex League), and deals additional damage equal to the number of Crystamax thorns times 40% or the number of Crystamax thorns times 1% of the Wanderer’s Max HP, whichever is greater until the Crystamax thorns are exhausted. The HP loss ratio of the Crystamax Thorns Max HP is the same as the HP loss ratio of the Wanderer’s Max HP.
Harrah’s Embrace (Discharge)
When the weapon charge is full or Phantasia is triggered, upon switching to this weapon, remove all debuffs from the wielder and summon Harrah to cast 12 thunderstorms, each of which deals damage equal to 68.8% to nearby targets, during which the Wanderer has damage immunity for 1.5 seconds (unavailable in Apex League).
Increase volt damage by 7% for 30 seconds after successfully using thorns (up to 5 can exist at one time) to be attacked. Crystamax can Harrah’s Embrace. In addition, generate 3 Crystamax thorns, start only with 100% Max HP, are unable healed by Feedback, and last for 150 seconds.
Gain 2 Feedback after Harrah’s Embrace lands an attack (can stack up to 4 times). Lost Art consumes 1 Feedback every dodge attack, dealing damage to the target equal to the number of Crystamax thorns times 72% of ATK, recovering 25% Max HP to all Crystamax thorns, and resetting Crystamax thorn location and duration, after landing a hit with Harrah’s Embrace, gain 1 opportunity to dodge without consuming a dodge attempt.
Why should you pull for Rubilia in Tower of Fantasy
Rubilia is set to be a Volt DPS Simulacrum that wields the weapon Lost Melody. She has high Shatter and Charge rate and can take advantage of the Volt Resonance effect. She specializes in conducting AoE Volt damage with her weapon. Her kit seems to be unique in nature and may compete with other Volt DPS Simulacrums to be one of the best to be released so far in the game.
Additionally, Rubilia can also as an off-field DPS due to her Thorns ability. She can also self-heal herself and seems to be good at acting as an enabler in team comps if paired with Lin. Overall, she is a unique character that will be a good addition to your roster.
