Spurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E), the company that owns the NBA team San Antonio Spurs, has joined the strategic investors’ group of Tribe Gaming, a North American esports company focused on mobile gaming. Fans of Tribe Gaming can now be very excited, as this collaboration will open up a lot of opportunities for both organizations.
The partnership opens opportunities for cross-content collaborations, co-branded marketing efforts, talent, and audience crossover, and shared strategic expertise. There’s no announcement from any of the organizations regarding the investment figure. In a tweet from the official account of Tribe Gaming, they confirmed their collaboration with SS&E.
A step forward for Tribe Gaming

Tribe Gaming is the largest mobile gaming esports organization in North America. Since being founded in 2019, the organization has now five mobile esports rosters – Brawl Stars, COD Mobile, Clash of Clans, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Clash Royale. They are in partnership with many investors like the Charlotte Hornets All-Star Gordon Hayward, mobile gaming veteran Kristian Segerstrale, WWE wrestler Claudio Castagnoli, and home to 18 of the top mobile gaming content creators.
It’s been only a week for Tribe Gaming to enter into a partnership with two organizations. Last week, they became partners with Elgato, the world’s leading provider of audiovisual technology. Since Tribe Gaming is looking to expand its gaming network and content in the West, the partnership with San Antonio Spurs owner SS&E will be a great leap forward for them.
