In October, the beloved spooky indie sensation, Vampire Survivors, is launching a winter-themed update just in time for the Christmas season. The new Whiteout patch is now available on Steam, Xbox, iOS, and Android, with a Nintendo Switch release on the horizon. This update introduces fresh content, including a new level and character, as well as an array of delightful surprises.
Vampire Survivors begins Christmas countdown with the Whiteout update
The update introduces a fresh wintry level called Whiteout, featuring the frosty heroine She-Moon Eeta, a new frosty, spiked weapon known as the Glass Fandango, the addition of new character evolution, an extra set of six achievements, and various other enhancements. Here are some of the new content now available in Vampire Survivors:
- 6 new EXTRA achievements
- 1 new Bonus stage: the snowy stage Whiteout
- 2 new relics to get a new PowerUp and morph an existing character
- 1 new weapon with its evolution: the spiky ice weapon Glass Fandango
- 1 new playable character: Frosty Worrier She-Moon Eeta
- 1 new music track: Remedy in the Snow
Luca Galante, the founder of Poncle and a real-life Italian, remarked, “When October arrives, one thing invariably springs to mind – Christmas, without a doubt! With just two months remaining until the grand celebration, I’m optimistic that this update will assist all our players in immersing themselves in the wintry holiday atmosphere.“
This update follows Vampire Survivors’ achievement of amassing over 200,000 positive reviews on Steam, where it still maintains an impressive 98% Overwhelmingly Positive rating. This accomplishment positions it as the third-highest-rated game on Steam of all time.
