Players take control of village located somewhere in Scandinavia with the threat of famine looming. The goal of the game is rather simple, make your village prosper while taking on enemies in dangerous brawls. The game promises a gripping story and fully developed characters along with dynamic, ever-changing gameplay.

Vikingard: A new Viking title now in early access

Players will have the opportunity to collect as many Viking heroes as they can over the course of the game. Each of these heroes are completely unique and can be upgraded to the maximum. The heroes also have their own unique high-quality animation. While the game starts out in Scandinavia, NetEase have said that players will be given the freedom to travel as far as Britain and indeed the rest of Europe which suggests that exploration will be one of the focal points of the game.

While brawls and fights form a core part of the gameplay experience, NetEase have also said that players will be able to take part in social simulations such as befriending companions, going on dates and even hosting lavish weddings. Players will also have the opportunity to mentor younger generations and send them out to battle when they are of age.

With game now entering early access, it could be the start of a long life-cycle for the casual RPG. NetEase themselves have promised that they will be supporting the game well after launch with regular events and prizes for players to grab. Players can check the official website for more details or head over to Google Play.
