Vikings: Valhalla, a new strategy game based on MGM Television and Netflix’s popular series will release exclusively for Netflix subscribers starting in 2023. The game is developed by Emerald City Games and Tilting Point, a leading publisher for independent developers worldwide.
Vikings: Valhalla is the third game from Tilting Point to be released on Netflix. This is as part of a partnership to deliver a variety of titles to subscribers with no commercials or in-app purchases. SpongeBob: Get Cooking!, a comical cooking adventure, was the first Tilting Point game to be released on Netflix this fall. Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited, based on the popular Netflix series from Gaumont, will follow in 2023.
Lead your Viking clans and build settlements in the strategy game, Vikings: Valhalla
In the upcoming strategy game Vikings: Valhalla, players will assume the role of ruthless Viking clan leaders and fortify formidable settlements. They will start battles and spread their influence over the continent as their support base increases. Carving out a position in the constantly shifting power dynamics will take strength, cunning, and creativity.

The Vikings: Valhalla television series, the newest installment of MGM Television’s hugely successful Vikings franchise, made its Netflix debut earlier this year. Season 2 will premiere on January 12, 2023. The creation of Vikings: Valhalla is the result of MGM and Tilting Point’s extensive collaboration. This also resulted in the 2021 release of the popular mobile multiplayer game ASTROKINGS featuring the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1.
Tilting Point has brought other several game titles on Netflix to extend its audiences
The portfolio of Tilting Point currently encompasses mobile, console, PC, and various subscription services. It is further diversified by these Netflix titles. Scaling mobile games through UA, IP integration, platform deployment and distribution, and other methods, Tilting Point has continually accelerated and doubled its success.
The continued expansion of Tilting Point onto new platforms, like Netflix, broadens the audience for beloved games. It increases their popularity around the world, and boosts their commercial success.
According to Kevin Segalla, founder and Co-CEO of Tilting Point, “The Vikings franchise was the right IP to produce a strategy game alongside Emerald City Games as part of our continuous cooperation that brings new titles to Netflix. He added, “We are excited to offer Netflix subscribers an exceptionally rich and satisfying gaming experience.”
