Voodoo announces its new Summer Game Competition 2021 with upto $1 million in the prize pool

Applicants can register from June 10th

The world’s number one mobile game publisher in terms of downloads, Voodoo has announced a new Summer Game Competition for the year 2021. The objective is to support several studios in creating the next hyper-casual hit. The competition will have a prize pool of upto $1 million in the terms of the prize pool. Applicants can now register for the competition between the dates of June 10th to July 15th, where they can submit an unlimited number of prototypes. Additionally, participants will receive continuous support from Voodoo at every step of the process for the first time.

The Summer Game competition will reward and support the successful studios

Throughout the whole process of the competition, Voodoo will support the applicants with help from their Voodoo’s Product Strategy and Publishing teams. This support will include the likes of inspiration packs with the marketability and have proper trend guidance from Voodoo’s extensive knowledge base, alongside data-driven insights. Webinars and live Q&A sessions will also take place with the Publishing teams throughout the competition. Applicants who wish to send their titles can do it in the registration form here. Entries before the official start date and live webinar on June 10th will be taken into consideration.

The reinforced support throughout the competition will also extend to testing facilities and launching hot prototypes. Applicants will have access to Voodoo’s world-class hyper-casual testing platform, which will have new and improved processes on Facebook, Snapchat, and Tiktok. All prototypes which hit a $0.20 CPI and 30% D1 retention on Android or 30c and 30% D1 retention on iOS, will benefit from the extra support of Voodoo’s CPI Optimisation Squad, LaunchOPS and Android Build teams.


  • $200k minimum guaranteed for any launched & confirmed game (no # cap).
  • $10k for all games hitting a $0.20 CPI and 30% D1 retention on Android or $0.30 CPI and 30% D1 on iOS.
  • $50k referral prizes for any referred studio with a confirmed hit game (during or after the competition).

Participants will be able to submit and test unlimited prototypes until the closing date of July 15th. It’ll be a great opportunity for upcoming studios with great ideas and revealing games.
