League of Legends: Wild Rift: Regional Closed beta is expanding to Japan and South Korea

Get ready for another wave of Wild Rift!

In most of the cases, South East Asian countries get the privilege to check out the early access or beta versions of the games. And once again Riot Games is favoring them as the Wild Rift regional closed beta now expanding to Japan and South Korea along with the five SEA countries where the game was already available. So that makes a total of 7 countries where the game is currently available. These are the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.

Wild Rift Regional closed beta schedule

For the 5 countries where the game was already available, the wave of invites will be much larger. And for Japan and South Korea, new people will be added with them. Starting from October 8, 8 AM PHT, people will start getting invites for Wild Rift regional closed beta.

How the countries are being selected for the testing?

Since the developers are testing on a small sample of players from quality check to balance changes to server stability, they are trying to make sure that the players will have a top class experience once the game launches globally. If you see geographically, all these 7 countries are very close to each other. They took this decision to afford all them in their scale testing into a smaller group of servers.

How to know that if you have the access or not?

If you are from any of those 7 countries and registed for the game, then you may get the invite. In that case, you’ll receive an email from Riot Games that you have been selected for the regional closed beta! But if you do not get any email, then sadly you have no other ways to try the game out.

Many people try looking for any available APK for the game. However, this is seriously risky. Do not try that because your phone might get some unwanted malware or your Riot account might get banned.

When Wild Rift will release in other countries?

Riot is expected to release the game by the end of this year. So hopefully by mid-November or early December, the gamers can expect the open beta. But still, it is just an expectation! Meanwhile, if you have not watched the last Dev diary yet, you can check it out here.
