Zynga acquires Golf Rival maker StarLark Studio for $525 Million

One massive agreement deal in the gaming industry

Zynga enters into an agreement and acquires the StarLark for approximately $525 million, the makers of Golf Rival. The game, Golf Rival is considered the second-largest mobile golf game in the world with 6 million downloads alone in 2021.

Golf Rival has rapidly ascended to become the second-largest mobile golf game in the world, with six million downloaders in 2021 alone. Together, Zynga and StarLark are well-positioned to grow Golf Rival faster together with additional new projects in early developments.

Zynga’s acquision run continues

This acquisition brings a team that has the ability to get a global hit and in early developments additional projects to Zynga. Its international presence is expanded by StarLark with an established China-based studio with access to the creative talent base in the regions.

Zynga is the global interactive entertainment leader in the gaming industry who came up with a mission to connect the world through games with a global reach in more than 175 countries and regions. There was an announcement made today by Zynga that they will come up with an agreement that acquires Golf Rival maker StarLark Studio for approximately $315 million of cash and $210 million of its common stock.

There are many other portfolios of popular games that are been downloaded more than four billion times on mobile that also includes, Empires and Puzzles, Hair Challenge, CSR Racing, Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells, High Hills, Merge Dragons, Merge Magic, Queen Bee, Toon Blast, Words with Friends and Zynga Poker.
