Zynga Inc, a wholly-owned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive announced that Akshay Bharadwaj has been promoted as the new head of its Socialpoint Studio. While building teams to produce new mass-market games in his former position as Vice President and General Manager of Zynga India, Bharadwaj handled the live operations of various games in the Zynga portfolio, including the FarmVille franchise.
Akshay Bharadwaj brings years of expertise in general management, business, product, and engineering roles in gaming, digital learning, consumer internet, and enterprise-focused organizations to Socialpoint.
“I’m honored to lead the incredibly talented Socialpoint studio into our next phase of growth while maintaining the wonderful culture, values, and identity the team has already built,” said Bharadwaj. He added, “Socialpoint has established itself as a beacon of mobile development and live operations. Within Take-Two‘s fiscal year 2024, Socialpoint will release a brand-new mobile game around the globe under Bharadwaj’s direction.

Following Zynga’s 2022 merger with Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Socialpoint was included in the Zynga label. Players may download the Socialpoint games such as Dragon City, Monster Legends, and Two Dots on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon App Store, Huawei App Gallery Store, and Microsoft Store.
