India’s marquee angels, Kunal Shah of CRED, former Nazara CEO, Manish Agarwal, Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy of Swiggy, and Sameer Pittalwala, Head of Gaming, Google Cloud (APAC) are backing Felicity Games, as it secures a $700K Pre-Seed funding. The funding also includes the participation of Venture capital, like DeVC and Visceral Capital.
Felicity has launched over 10 titles in under a year of launch and aims to become India’s leading mobile game publisher
A bit of background, Felicity games, launched by ex-Swiggy executive Anurag Choudhary, in just a year of operation, has launched over 10 game titles, which are played by more than a million monthly users across 14 geographies. The company aims to utilize the revenue to test 10 more such games and launch them by 2025. Not just this, the company even aims to scale revenue by 10x by the end of this year.
With Felicity Games now securing a $700K pre-seed funding the operations are going to get even smoother as the company aims to become India’s leading mobile game publisher. “Given our cost and skill advantages, Felicity Games is well placed to build a multi-million dollar casual gaming business from India for the world.” quoted Anurag Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Felicity Games.
The company recently launched 2 titles ‘Seek & Find’, and ‘Nova Solitaire’ which have been quite successful in the US and other Western markets, amassing over 100,000+ downloads within 3 months. The investment in Felicity Games also highlights the growing interest in the mobile gaming industry as now domestic developers and publishers are starting to gain business traction.
