MOONTON Games enters partnership with Qiddiya to expand Mobile Legends Esports worldwide

A step ahead partnership for a sustainable esports future for MLBB

MOONTON Games and Qiddiya entered into a partnership to expand the range of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports worldwide. As part of MOONTON’s initiative to take MLBB esports outside the SEA, the partnership will be a significant milestone for both parties.

Qiddiya is committed to helping grow the esports ecosystems of popular titles around the world. As part of the plan and the aim to become the global gaming hub by 2030, the partnership will have down much greater impact both on the title’s esports ecosystem and the players around regional communities.

As a result of MOONTON Games’ partnership, Qiddiya City will bring online and offline activations in the M6 World Championship in Malaysia as the Global Presenting Partner. Besides, it will be the official sponsor for MPL MENA Seasons 5 and 6 and MPL Indonesia Seasons 13 and 14. Moreover, this will initiate two key focal activities namely the Qiddiya Play of the Day, and the Qiddiya Legends Award.

MOONTON Games’ partnership will ensure additional multi-level support to MLBB competitive communities in key local territories from Qiddiya. It will make a stronghold in building and growing a sustainable environment for athletes and fans in key territories worldwide. As MLBB is already on the roll to step outside and make a global impact by taking the MSC 2024 to the EWC 2024, the partnership will further impact the game’s ecosystem for better sustainability.

Launched in 2018, Qiddiya is one of the most ambitious megaprojects of the Saudi government. The aim is to make it an emerging capital for entertainment, sports, and culture. It expects to achieve its goals by 2030 and be the leading hub for entertainment, sports, and culture.

Mobile Legends, one of the current leading esports titles for mobile, also looking to expand its premises. The title set a new record at the recently-concluded MPL Indonesia Season 13. It became the most-watched MPL event in the world with 2,225,961 Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV). However, Qiddiya has a previous partnership record with MLBB. In December 2023, Qiddiya City became the first-ever Global Presenting Sponsor of the M5 World Championship.
