Apex Legends Mobile Thug Invitational 2022: Schedule, Prize pool, and more

First ever tournament of the game in India!

Apex Legends Mobile was released in May of this year, and since then, the game’s popularity has been constantly growing. Though the esports scenario is still in its nascent stage, a recent announcement has revealed that the first ever Apex Legends Mobile competition in India titled Thug Invitational is going to take place from 26th to 28th August 2022. 

Thug Invitational will feature India’s top gaming content creators

The Thug Invitational, featuring a prize pool of $3128, will witness the top 16 gaming content creators of India locking horns to display their skills in this newly released mobile title.

The event is hosted in partnership with Loco and powered by The Esports Club, working to provide an esports platform for grassroots community development in India and other South Asian nations.

Where to watch the Apex Legends Mobile Thug Invitational 2022

As the official broadcast partner for the competition, the event will be streamed on The Esports Club (TEC) channel on Loco. Fans can watch the invitational tournament from 6 PM to 9 PM IST starting on 26th August. Judging from the social media reaction the India Apex Legends Mobile community is hyped about its very first tournament and wishes to see many more competitive battles on a larger scale.

Even though the esports scene in India is blooming as the youth of the nation is highly inclined towards gaming, most importantly mobile gaming titles like BGMI, COD Mobile, Free Fire and others. But now that some well-known mobile esports games have been banned in India, it might be the ideal time for the Apex Legends esports scene to take off.
