BGMI: Team SouL announces roster for Battlegrounds Mobile India

A new beginning for one of the most popular esports organisations in India!

Just after the announcement of the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 2022 esports roadmap, India’s one of the best and most renowned esports teams, Team SouL has announced its official Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster on their social media handles. Team Soul is arguably the most successful team in India in terms of official tournament triumph. However, it is their third roster after a lot of shuffling in the last 8-10 months.

Led by popular gamer/streamer Naman ‘SouL morTal’ Mathur and powered by S8UL, Team SouL is a merger of two big organizations – SouL and 8bit. They have won multiple national-level official championships such as PUBG Mobile Club Open spring split 2019 and PUBG Mobile India Series 2019.

Team SouL full roster for BGMI

The new BGMI roster of Team SouL is filled with young blood. There is a mixture of veterans and young players on the team. All four of the players have been signed by other different BGMI teams. None of the old players are going to continue with the current roster.

Notably, Yogesh Yadav aka SouLRoXX and YuvaOp left the team after Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021. And now, continuing to their trend of making highly talented and decorated squads, the latest BGMI roster will feature four star-studded and champion-worthy athletes. They are:

  • SouLOmega – In-game leader, entry fragger
  • SouLAkshaT – Assaulter
  • SouLGobLin – Assaulter, scout
  • SouLHector – Support, scout

This new roster comes after the disbanding of the star-studded lineup featuring ‘Mavi’ and ‘Sc0utOp’. The old roster of Team Soul failed to qualify for the final of BGIS 2021. Old players like Regaltos, Viper, and Mortal are not going to continue with the roster but they will remain as content creators for S8UL.

Four new players were recruited in the team, they are Sahil Jakhar aka ‘SouLOmega’, Akshat Goel aka ‘SouLAkshaT’. These two players have transferred from team Chemin esports. The remaining two players are Harsh Paudwal aka ‘SouLGobLiN’ and Sohail aka ‘SouLHector. They are taken from team Insane esports and Entity gaming respectively.

The new BGMI roster for Team SouL looks very promising

This new lineup of Team Soul consists of players who are currently running riots in BGMI tournaments. They are playing very consistently in practice scrims and unofficial tournaments.

Omega is currently India’s one of the best in-game leaders and now he is going to pair with two brilliant assaulters – AkshaT and Goblin. In the early stages, Omega and Akshat played for team 8bit too. They are playing together for a long time.

On the other hand, Hector is known for his outstanding supporting gameplay and controlled aggression. He is one of the current BGMI professionals who play the game without using the gyroscope. It will certainly be interesting to see what this all-new roster would mean for Team SouL’s future in the BGMI Esports scene.
