BOOM Esports, a multinational, multi-divisional esports organization formerly known as BOOM ID, announced their new LOL: Wild Rift roster today. The organization took only a few days to form a new line-up for their Wild Rift division. It is only less than a week, they had released their previous roster.
After qualifying to the final qualifiers of SEA Icon Series 2021 Fall: Indonesia, the Indonesian organization gave a hint of the new roster but didn’t disclose the names. But today, a tweet from the official page of BOOM Esports confirms the announcement regarding their new roster.
BOOM Esports new roster for League of Legends: Wild Rift
- Gov, Ex-captain of Onic Esports
- FlyArthur & Xiaoqi, Mid Jungle duet from Aerowolf
- Tufz, The remaining player from the previous roster
- Chalize, who was separated from BOOM Esports, will be joining again
About BOOM Esports
Being established in November 2016, the esports organization quickly reached success and now holds top-tier rosters from Southeast Asian regions. They formed their Wild Rift roster on 2 February 2021. But, the team was not getting the desired success. Following the results of the Icon Series Fall open qualification, which has been held 2 times, BOOM Esports failed to advance to the final qualifiers. As a result, the new Wild Rift team was officially released.
The former roster consists of five players, and four of them are
- Gatama Platypus Putra Sanjaya,
- Irdham Damskii Hilmansyah
- M. Vikrie ViBritannia Ramadhan
- Wahidu Chalize Imam
Taufik Tufz was the only remaining player from the former team. The management said, “BOOM will still struggle in the remaining qualifications”.
This is a quick step from BOOM to form a new team immediately after releasing the previous one. Currently, they have seven different teams, both for mobile and PC games. With a vision to become the #1 esports organization in the world, and dominate the world stage of professional gaming, they’re proving their relentless efforts to conquer their vision.
The organization has gained more than a hundred achievements in their four years of journey, but any LOL Wild Rift championship is still a dream for them. With the new roster in house, both the organization and the fans can now only hope for winning one.
