As part of the Brawl Stars Championship 2023 series, the monthly finals for August are over now. With this August monthly finals coming to an end, we get to see the monthly champions from eight different regions. Besides, we may see a few teams qualify for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2023 and others for the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals: Overview of the series
The monthly finals for almost all the regions follow a similar format except for the Chinese mainland and other qualifier events such as the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The first stage of monthly finals is the qualifier where teams continue to play in the upper and lower brackets until the top eight is decided.
Then, they move to the next stage where teams from upper and lower brackets played each other. Following a best-of-five format, the top four teams are decided. The teams, then, moved to the monthly finals where matches are played in a best-of-five format following a single elimination bracket.
Monthly final teams are awarded BSC Points according to their position after the finals. Winning teams for each month get a hundred BSC points. Later, the accumulation of the BSC points after all the monthly finals decided the teams that will get a slot for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2023. There will be a total of eight teams to qualify for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2023 based on their BSC points. And, the rest 4 slots are allocated for the Last Chance Qualifier which will take place at a later date.
With the end of August monthly finals, the directly qualified teams are settled as well as the LCQ teams are selected. Now, 8 teams have qualified for the upcoming world finals and the LCQ is scheduled to take place in October. 4 teams will qualify for the world finals from the LCQ. On the other hand, season 3 of the EU-MENA Challenge is also going to end on the 27th of August. However, Zeta Division has already got themselves a ticket to the world finals from the EMEA region.
India
Team OK won the Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals after defeating 4 Button by a clean sweep of 3-0. The one-sided grand final was dominated by Team OK and with three consecutive wins, they took 100 BSC points and $4,000 as the winning prize money.

The runner-up 4 Button took 70 BSC points and $2,500. However, Team OK has qualified for the LCQ from India along with Revenant Esports. With these two teams, the slots from India Circuit Points are covered.
East Asia
REJECT defeated Chasmac Gaming EA by a scoreline of 3-2 and won the August monthly finals. Both teams have qualified for the Last Chance Qualifier. However, the monthly finals of August were filled with much intensity as REJECT almost lost the match.

Each team picked up two rounds after the fourth round. Thus, the last match became the decider. REJECT took a strong comeback and finished the game by winning the round. The team was awarded $8,000 while the runner-up took $5,000.
Southeast Asia
Kool Kids topped the table in Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals in the Southeast Asian region. The team picked a victory by WINTER. In the final rounds, the runner-up team took the first match away. Later, Champion Kool Kids took two consecutive rounds but lost again in the fourth match.

However, they managed to win the final round and took away the victory. Though none of the teams could qualify for the world finals or the LCQ, they gave a strong hint that they’re going to throw strong challenges in the future. Team Flash and Rising Sun SEA are the qualified teams for the LCQ from the SEA region.
EMEA
ZETA DIVISION, one of the strongest Brawl Stars teams and winner of the 2021 World Finals, has once again taken the August monthly finals of the EMEA region. After defeating SK Gaming by 3-2, they conquered the monthly final. EMEA is one of the strongest regions in Brawl Stars Esports.

SK Gaming took the first two rounds and the next matches were written by the champion ZETA. Three wins in a row put them on top. $11,000 was grabbed by the champions while the runner-up took $7,000. ZETA and Totem are the direct participants from the EMEA region.
South America West
Shield Gang was crowned the Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals winner in the South America West region. The team, on their way to claiming a total of $4,000 and 100 BSC points, defeated Blue Label by a 3-1 scoreline.

Runner-up Blue Label only managed to pick a win in the second round. However, the tea was awarded $2,500. The MVP of the grand finals went to Weepy’s hand. Neither of the teams will be seen in the world finals or even in the LCQ. Reconic Esports SA and Datos F/A (former LeaveNoWitness) will play in the LCQ from the SA West.
South America East
QLASH became the champion in the South America East. In the Bo5 grand finals, the team won against F/A MiniPekkas by making the scoreline a dominating 3-0. The runner-up could not stand a chance against the champion team as the first three rounds went to QLASH’s hand.

KaioDog became the grand finals MVP. Winning the finals got the champion a total of $8,000 while the runner-up picked $5,000. The next two teams took $3,500 each. Tribe Gaming is the only qualified team to the world finals from the NA East region. And, Chasmac Gaming NA are the LCQ participants.
North America East
North American giant Tribe Gaming took away the trophy of the champion after making a sweep win against Chasmac Gaming NA in the Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals. The scoreline was as clean as 3-0, showing the dominating performance by Tribe.

Ezlivi from the champion team became the grand finals MVP. Both the finalist teams are qualified to the world stage, Tribe o the world finals while Chasmac Gaming NA is going to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier. The champion team won $8,000 while followed by the runner-up $5,000.
North America West
Powerhouses like Luminosity Gaming, STMN Esports, Washed Team, and Reconic Esports NA gathered in the August monthly finals of the NA West region. A defeat of 3-2 against Luminosity Gaming put the STMN in the runner-up position.

However, both teams will play on the world stage. Champion Luminosity Gaming is qualified for the world finals already, the runner-up will play in the LCQ. Patchy became the MVP of the grand finals.
Brawl Stars Championship 2023 August Monthly Finals: Final Thoughts
While all the teams are set to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier, it will be an exciting event to watch as the event will send 4 teams to the prestigious world finals 2023. Teams that could not make it to the world finals directly will surely want to grab the opportunity this time.
