FIFAe, FIFA’s official wing for football esports has announced that it is arriving with its inaugural ‘FIFAe Next Gen’ event. This multi-title FIFAe Next Gen event will be from 28th August to 1st September 2024, in Liverpool, England.
This event will feature two of the popular football video games; Football Manager and KONAMI’s eFootball, bringing together different football and esports communities.
With the FIFAe World Cup for Football Manager, local players can enjoy eFootball Mobile competition
Twenty managers, each with an assistant manager, will compete in the inaugural FIFAe World Cup, representing their nations. The event offers a prize pool of $100,000, with the world’s best Football Manager player receiving an exclusive invite to the FIFA Diploma in Club Management. 19 Countries are participating, although England will have two teams and two managers each being the host country.

This program offers opportunities to build a career in football, with past participants including notable figures like Cesc Fàbregas and Radamel Falcao. For the host venue, VisitLiverpool has partnered with FIFAe as the Official Sponsor of the event, which will be held at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
The event will also include the FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup, a special eFootball mobile showcase event, inviting local players to compete. So if you are around Liverpool, go ahead and take part in the qualifier event on 29 August, to get a chance to compete against some of the best global players from eFootball mobile leaderboards on 30 August 2024.
Along with the competitive events, there are exciting local events in FIFAe Next Gen 2024 as well. YouTuber Spencer Owen, aka SpencerFC, will host a special show on football, tactics, and Football Manager during the final two days, streaming on FIFAe channels.
To support the local community, FIFAe partners with TheRockinR to provide gaming carts to a Liverpool hospital and with EveryoneCan to supply equipment to a disability gaming center in Manchester.
