Honor of Kings, the popular action MOBA from Level Infinite, is near to concluding the esports roadmap in 2024. Following the roadmap announced in February this year, Honor of Kings Championship 2024 will take place in October featuring 16 teams and a million dollar as the prize pool.
Honor of Kings Championship 2024: Schedule and Format
Honor of Kings Championship 2024 will start on the 12th of October 2024. The venue is set in Jakarta, Indonesia. The grand finals of this event will commence on the 27th of October.
The Group stage will begin on the 12th of October 2024 and will end on the 17th of October. The Playoffs stage will begin the next day, on the 18th of October. It will have two phases. The first one will run till the 19th of October while the second phase will run from the 25th of October to the 27th.
Group stage matches will be in a BO3 format while the Playoffs will feature BO5 matches. The grand final will take place in a BO7 format. In the group stage, there will be four groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next round.

The pinnacle of the Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series, the championship event will feature 16 best teams globally. Teams will qualify from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Türkiye, Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa, America, Europe, the Pacific, and more.

Prize pool
The event will feature a total of $1,000,000 as the prize pool. The champion will take a huge share of the amount which is 300k USD. A complete breakdown of the prize pool is as follows:

Black Shrew Esport is the champion of Honor of Kings Championship 2024
The event comes to an end with Black Shrew Esport becoming the champion. In the grand finals, the champion defeated Dominator Esports by a scoreline of 4-0, a clean sweep. On the way to establishing dominance over the Dominators, the team also tasted sweet revenge. They lost by 1-3 against the runner-up in the upper-bracket final.
As the event closes the 2024 journey of Honor of Kings esports, it also sends a strong message to the global teams for the coming events. The just-concluded event awarded MusangKing from the champion team as the Finals MVP. Being the champion, it pocketed $300,000 as the winning bonus.
Top teams will battle it out for the greatest prize in Honor of Kings esports
The title announced a whopping $15M as the overall prize pool of the esports events in 2024. Aiming to grow the Honor of Kings international esports ecosystem, the game already finished several successful tournaments.
The invitational circuit alone has featured three events including the S1 event in Turkey, the S2 event in Malaysia, and the Midseason in Riyadh. As the finale is here now, all eyes will be on the stage to witness which team will take the championship home.
