League of Legends Wild Rift Esports has concluded another regional event today. The Wild Rift League (WRL) Asia 2023: Season 1 has ended with Chinese team KeepBest Gaming crowned as the champions. After a sweeping victory against Nigma Galaxy, a 4-0 scoreline put the team in the champion seat. Organized by Tencent Games, TJ Esports, and VNGGames, the event took place at JD Intel Esports Center in Beijing. Four teams have made it to the grand finals, two teams each from the APAC Conference and CN Conference.

Champion KeepBest Gaming qualified for the grand finals by becoming the winner of round robin stage, which started on the 21st of July, 2023. Nigma Galaxy advanced to the semifinals after finishing as the runner-up on stage. The team came to the grand finals after defeating J Team by 3-2 in the semifinal.
On the other hand, both clubs entered the championship game focused on winning the trophy. Nigma Galaxy was distant from the trophy due to the champs’ superior dominance, which was on a different level. KeepBest Gaming claimed the first four rounds; as a result, the remaining three rounds were not played. The winner, KeepBest Gaming, came in second place at the CN Conference, while Nigma Galaxy took first place at the APAC Conference.
Wild Rift League (WRL) Asia 2023: Season 1‘s prize pool was a whopping ¥ 2,000,000 (almost $277,000). KeepBest Gaming received about $138,500 in prize money for winning Wild Rift League (WRL) Asia 2023: Season 1. The second-place finisher, Nigma Galaxy, took home $55,500, while the remaining two competitors, J Team and KT Rolster, each received close to $41,500.
With the champion trophy in their possession, KeepBest Gaming will be motivated for their upcoming competition. Nigma Galaxy, who finished in second place, will aim to perform even better in their subsequent competition.
