After the successful commencement of season 1, the LPL Clash Royale World Tour 2023 has returned with Season 2. Teams all around the world will join the mobile esports tournament. Teams from the Americas (NA & LATAM), EMEA (Europe & MENA), APAC North (Japan & South Korea), and APAC South (OCE & SEA) will compete for a share of $25,000 USD.
The event will be held in two divisions. Scheduled to start on the 2nd of October 2023, the event will close its journey on the 16th of November, Thursday.
LPL Clash Royale World Tour Season 2: Event Format and Schedule
The event will feature a 1v1 Duels Format where the matches will be BO3. All the players will have to bring three unique decks and use them in each round. No card can be played in more than one deck regardless of win or loss. The event will kick off on the 2nd of October 2023. It is divided into three phases. The details are as follows.
Pro Division Open Qualifiers
From the 2nd of October to the 5th, the Pro Division Open Qualifiers will continue. There will be eight qualifiers in total across the eight regions played in a Single Elimination Bracket to determine the top 2 players from each region. All players that do not qualify will be played into the Open Division.
Open Division
From the 2nd of November to the 5th, the Open Division will take place. All players who did not qualify for the Pro Division will be placed into a single elimination bracket.
Pro Divison
From the 13th of November to the 16th, this round will take place with the top 16 players from the first round. The players will be placed into the Pro Division double-elimination bracket.
Prize pool
The event will feature a total of $25,000 USD as the prize money. The amount is divided into two divisions. The Pro Division will get $22,500 USD while the Open Division will feature $2,500 USD. The allocation in each divisional team is as follows.
