Popular Indonesia-based esports team Alter Ego has announced their roster for the upcoming season 8 of the Mobile Legends Professional League Indonesia (MPL-ID). Alter Ego, one of the most successful Mobile Legends teams from Indonesia has had a disappointing performance at MPL-ID Season 7. The esports team from Indonesia announced their roster officially on their Youtube channel.
Alter Ego full roster in MPL-ID Season 8
Through Alter Ego’s original squad reveal video posted on their official Youtube channel, it was shown that their ace player, Ahmad, was set to miss out on the upcoming season of MPL ID. The video showed 6 members for the roster but made no mention of Ahmad. Moreover, the video also included Alter Ego’s latest addition Rasy, the popular esports gamer who jumped ship from ONIC Esports.
However, to the fans’ delight, Alter Ego later uploaded a follow-up video on their Youtube channel solely dedicated to Ahmad. Through the video, Alter Ego announced that Ahmad will also be joining the roster for MPL ID Season 8.

Expectations from Alter Ego in the upcoming season
Alter Ego had a surprisingly disappointing run in season 7 of MPL ID. However, it is widely known what Alter Ego is capable of. They came incredibly close to winning season 6 of MPL ID not too long ago and became the champions of ONE Esports MPL Invitational in December 2020 after having a dominant undefeated run. Moreover, with Ahmad back in the fray and Rasy joining the team, fans of Alter Ego will be expecting the silverware in the upcoming tournament.
