Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will kick off MPL MY Season 14 soon. With a huge prize pool of $100,00 and 10 participant teams, the Malaysian stage is ready to set fire. As the second split of 2024 esports events for MOONTON’s popular MOBA is going on, all the country events are taking place in each regional stage.
Mobile Legends MPL MY Season 14: Schedule and Format
The event will kick off on the 7th of September 2024. In the month-long event, the closing ceremony will be the commencement of the grand finals which will take place on the 13th of October 2024.
The event is divided into two stages. The Regular Season will follow a single round-robin format, with each match to be a Best-Of-Three (BO3). The top 6 teams after the end of this stage will qualify for the Playoffs. This stage will kick off on the 31st of October and end on the 3rd of November.
All the matches during the Playoffs will follow a Best-Of-Five (BO5) format, except for the BO7 Grand Finals on the 3rd of November.
Participating Teams
The event will feature 10 teams from several events that took place this year in Malaysia. 8 teams are directly selected from Season 13, one is from the Qualifier, and the remaining team is from MLBB Academy League Season 1. The list of the participating teams for this event is given below.

Prize Pool
The event will give $100,000 (~MYR 437,000) as the prize pool. Apart from the allocated amount after the event based on the teams’ ranking, there will be other awards and participation bonuses. The biggest achievement for the teams will be that the top 2 teams will qualify for the M6 World Championship. Here’s a breakdown of the prize pool.

During the regular season, each team will receive $350 as their participation bonus each week. Besides, $60 will be awarded for a 2-0 win, $400 for a 2-1, and $200 if the scoreline becomes 1-2. The MVP of the Grand Final will be awarded $1,000.
