PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023: Top 5 strongest contenders to watch out for

We will take a look at the top 5 strongest teams and contenders for the title in PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) PMGC 2023.

5. Vampire Esports

The Thai professional team is continuing with their old squad with two new fraggers to join the team in early 2023. After TonyK, and nOOzy joined the organization, the team is showing flying performance in the regular events.

Defending champion of the PMWI 2023, the team also won the previous installment as well in 2022. With the addition of the fraggers, the team is backed by well-proven coach SIRTANNY. Vampire Esports will be one of the strongest contenders for this year’s event.

4. Dplus

DWG KIA is now known as Dplus, the Korean team has built good synergy and cooperation in their rotation and gunslinging over the others. The captain, FAVIAN, is known for his good IGL skills and we got its proof in the last event, the India – Korea Invitational. Along with the other performers in the team, Dplus will be one of the focused teams in the PMGC 2023.

3. S2G Esports

S2G Esports has got a direct slot in the finals of PMGC 2023. The defending champion of PMGC is also in a strong position in the race for the champion trophy. Their performance is also unquestionable.

The strategy, individual performance, and synergy among the players have made the team come this far. Though the team could not do well this year, who knows, the ability of a beast always comes out unpredictable.

2. Stalwart Esports

Rooted in India, Stalwart Esports is playing from the Mongolia region and everyone who follows the PUBG Mobile Esports will know what is the ability of this team. Action, PikA, Skryyy, and TOP are well-known for their consistent performance in every event from 2021.

And, the recent inclusion of ICY and NIRZED has taken the team to a dominating level. The consistency in each event along with the gunpowder this team holds, will surely be an upper hand in the upcoming PMGC 2023.

1. Six Two Eight

The motto of Six Two Eight is “daring to explore, daring to work hard, and innovation“. And the team is exactly doing it. Dominating over others in the PEL events and carrying the performance to the global events has made the team a perfect contender for the event. Besides, the absence of NOVA Esports also puts a responsibility on their shoulders to keep the Chinese domination in PUBG Mobile’s esports scene.

Esports fans will miss a few teams as well from PMGC 2023

The PMGC 2023 took the teams after being qualified from their regional qualifier events. Through the intense battle and point collection, the qualified teams are now ready to jump onto the stage. However, the esports fans and the event itself will miss a few of the biggest contenders. Nova Esports is, arguably, the best team in the PUBG Mobile esports arena. But the team surprisingly could not qualify for the grand event. This leaves a great blank spot in the hearts of millions of esports fans.

Besides, not including any Indian teams in the event is another surprise. While everyone waited till the last day to watch any teams from India set foot in the PMGC 2023, the special slots were allocated somewhere else. India is one of the largest regions in the PUBG Mobile global market, and the teams are also worth noticing on the world stage. A PMGC without Indian teams will lose its color anyway.

So, be ready to watch the intense fight and inhuman plays by the teams in this PMGC 2023, especially look out for the performance of the top 5. This is going to be a tournament worth watching to tell a tale.
