Genshin Impact Nicole Build Guide: Kits Explained
Nicole is a Pyro support catalyst character who deals damage, provides a shield, and gives an attack buff to the team. She provides team-wide ATK buffs, a strong Pyro shield, and can deal off-field AoE Elemental DMG. Her kit revolves around her Skill and Ultimate. Here is a breakdown of her kit.
Elemental Skill
After using her Elemental Skill, she bestows the Grace of Kenosis effect on nearby party members. This effect increases their ATK and deals AoE Pyro DMG, as well as creates a Pyro Shield. The Pyro Shield DMG absorption is based on Nicole’s ATK, and it will absorb Pyro DMG at 250% effectiveness.
Elemental Burst
After using Nicole’s Elemental Burst, she deals AoE Pyro DMG and switches to Silent Contemplation mode. In this mode, when nearby active party members hit an opponent, she summons an Arcane Projection that deals AoE Elemental DMG. This DMG scales based on the corresponding character’s ATK and is considered as having been dealt by them.
This effect can occur once every 3s, and she can trigger it up to 4 times each time Nicole switches to Silent Contemplation mode.
Passive Skills
- Methexis: For 20 seconds after unleashing the Elemental Skill, she uses the Guidance of Theosis effect, which increases active character ATK by 300 if the active character stays on the field for more than 3seconds. If the active character is a Hexerei character, then the character will receive this buff instantly.
- Philokalia: When Elemental DMG from nearby active party members hits an opponent, Nicole’s own Grace of Kenosis effect is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis for 8s.
- Witch’s Eve Rite: Light in the Darkness: This passive unlocks after completing her Witch’s Homework: The Role of a Guide. When the party includes at least 2 Hexerei characters, we gain the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect. This effect increases the DMG dealt by Hexerei characters’ Arcane Projections by 300% of Nicole’s ATK.
