Vietnamese giants Team Flash becomes the second team from SEA to confirm a spot in Wild Rift Global Icons Championship 2022. Winning by a 3-2 scoreline against Buriram United Esports (BRU) in the upper-bracket semi-finals has secured a ticket for the team. Flash Wolves is the first to do so. SEA has four slots in the upcoming global championship where two of them are taken by Flash Wolves and Team Flash.

Team Flash started their run by defeating CERBERUS Esports in the WR Champions SEA, the regional tournament for the Wild Rift teams of South-East Asia, Oceania. After claiming the top spot there, the champions were pitted against other winners from different sub-regions in the Wild Rift Champions SEA Finals 2022.
On their journey to book a ticket to the Icons Global, Team Flash faced off against Buriram United Esports (BRU) in the upper-bracket semifinals and emerged victorious after a fierce battle. Winning the match took them to the upper-bracket final and also a place in the global championship. As the event has four seeds, the Icons Global and Flash have a confirmed place in the top four, the team will be heading to the global event.
