The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Africa Spring 2022 has concluded with Virtual Gaming emerging as the crowned champion. The esports event was spectacular and spread intensity to the heart of every PMPL AF Spring 2022 fan.
After an exhilarating battle in 18 matches for three days, Intruder Africa and Virtual Gaming stopped at 183 total points. But Virtual Gaming, being ahead in WWCD count by one, managed to be the winner. Intruder Africa, the runner-up, was the most dominating team grabbing 93 elimination points.
Virtual Gaming’s journey through the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Africa Spring 2022
The grand finals of PMPL Africa Spring 2022 started on 15 April with the top 16 teams from the regular week. A total of 18 matches were held where teams faced each other. The initial day ended with ONE MILLION ESPORTS topping the table. The team scored 83 points with two WWCDs. Champion Virtual finished second, while the runner-up barely made to the top five.
The next day witnessed major changes in the point table as ONE MILLION ESPORTS faced a great seatback and downed to the fifth. Virtual Gaming climbed to the top with 138 points. The drama continued to the final day.
Intruder Africa massacred the lobby throughout the whole day, and with the help of two chicken dinners, the team established their supremacy. Most of their kills and position points were collected on the final day. But luck was not in favor of the team as the champion; Virtual Gaming picked the most WWCD.
Virtual Gaming took $10,000 home to win the event, while the second and the third teams took $6,500 and $6,000, respectively. Senku from Cryptics became the league MVP and was awarded $1,000. The top six teams qualified for the MEA Championship Spring 2022.
