In 2022, Riot Games started its first official year of Wild Rift Esports. In compliance with the roadmap for the competitive scene of Riot’s MOBA, several regional events have already kicked off, intending to select teams for the grand event of Wild Rift Esports in 2022, the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship. The venue, Teatro Minas Centro in Belo Horizonte, is ready to witness the battle for the trophy and the chance to represent Brazil on the global stage of Wild Rift with the Wild Tour Brazil Finals 2022.
Wild Tour Brazil Finals 2022: Schedule and Format
The Wild Tour Brazil is the regional league for the country. The event kicked off on February 18. The playoffs stage will start on Friday, April 29. And the grand final will take place on Sunday, May 8, along with the event’s closing ceremony.

Once the Group Stage is done, the top four teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage. Based on each team’s total points in the Group Stage, the matches will be distributed accordingly. Following a double-elimination bracket, matches before the semis will be best-of-three, the semifinals will be best-of-five, and the final will be best-of-seven.
The event has a massive R$1,450,000 (approximately $308,705) prize pool to share with the participant teams. Each team’s share after the event’s conclusion is as follows.
- Champion: R$ 220,000
- Runner-up: R$180,000
- 3rd place: R$150,000
- 4th place: R$130,000
- 5th place: R$115,000
- 6th place: R$115,000
- 7th place R$100,000
- 8th place: R$100,000
- 9th-10th: R$ 90,000
- 11th-12th: R$ 80,000
Wild Tour Brazil 2022 will allow Live Spectators
After the experience of the covid-19 pandemic last year, the organizers are taking measured steps. However, the tournament assured its fans that the event will allow a live audience to enjoy the fight among the best teams in Brazil. But spectators must submit proof of vaccination. Approximately 1200 tickets will be sold each day, and the sale will begin on April 18 (Monday), from 13h (Brasilia time).
