The rankings are based on operators’ performance in Umbral Monument, the game’s challenging endgame mode that tests your team’s damage output, survivability, and strategic versatility. To simplify things even further, we will divide the characters into 4 different tiers, namely Strong (S), Good (A), Average (B), and Bad (D).

Best Meta Operators in Arknights: Endfield
The game has 24 Characters available currently at launch so far. And there are 7 different elements for doing elemental damage, which are Physical, Arts, Aether, Heat, Electricity, Cryo, and lastly Nature damage, and 6 different classes: Caster, Defender, Guard, Supporter, Striker, and Vanguard.
So, choosing the right Operator based on the utility type is also key to having a winning team. Whether you’re pushing through Umbral Monument mode or clearing story content, these are the best picks for each class type if you want to dominate every type of mode and keep your factory production on top.
Best Main DPS in Arknights: Endfield – Laevatain
Laevatain is a 6-star Operator who wields a Sword and belongs to the Striker class. She also has access to the Heat element. Her core mechanics are fully intact as a base unit; she is a “complete dps package” the moment you pull her.
Her main strength lies in her Ultimate, which provides sustained and powerful AoE damage. If your DPS is high enough, her Ultimate can even “cross waves” (persist from one enemy wave to the next). She is currently one of the best AOE mob-clearers available at launch.
Best Support DPS in Arknights: Endfield – Pogranichnik
Pogranichnik is a 6-star Operator who also uses a Sword and belongs to the Vanguard class. Although Pogranichnik is a standard 6-star unit, he is currently and most likely will remain for a long time the absolute core of the Physical team builds.
He provides up to a 20% Physical Vulnerability debuff with a massive 30s duration, along with a superb SP generation and great Crowd Control ultimate that is amazing in clearing mods. So, you can add him in your team.
Best Amplifier in Arknights: Endfield – Ardelia
Ardelia is a 6-star character who wields an Arts Casting Weapon and belongs to the Supporter class. She is a Nature character. Both the character and her Signature Weapon are given for free as part of the daily check-in rewards event. She is widely considered a “Newbie’s Best Friend” due to her versatility; she is a universal fit for both Physical and Arts team compositions.
You can easily trigger her Combo Skill, and this makes her very reliable for maintaining rotation flow. Her skills cover multiple bases, offering both Corrosion application and essential healing support. She provides both Physical and Arts Susceptibility with a generous duration, significantly raising your team’s damage floor.
Best Survivalist in Arknights: Endfield – Ember
Ember is a 6-star character who uses a Greatsword and belongs to the Defender class. Ember also has access to the Heat element. She is the best defender and tank operator in the game currently, letting you take advantage of a comprehensive utility that includes high Interruption Resistance, Damage Reduction, healing, shielding, and the ability to apply Vulnerability stacks.

The current Arknights: Endfield meta is heavily centered around the game’s new characters, who are designed with explosive kits and high-scaling damage potential, but often require very specific 5-star support units to reach their full strength.
