Boom Beach Frontlines is a 9v9 strategy title developed by Space Ape Games and Supercell expanding the Boom Beach universe. With the arrival in 19 more countries with the Boom Beach Frontlines soft launch program, the game is making quick progress both in bringing more content and the market since the beginning of the soft launch in other regions. The game is currently at its season 10 with each season lasting about 30 days. With the launch of the new season, every month comes new troops. Currently, there are more than 15 troops in the game. Here are some ways with which players can unlock all the troops faster in Boom Beach Frontlines:
1. Opening more Boxes
Many players have noticed by now that most of the in-game items they get are obtained by opening boxes which give players cards (common, rare, and epic), coins, and gems depending on the rarity of the boom box a player is opening. These boxes are commonly obtained by completing tiers in the free/Beach Pass and help players to unlock new troops.
2. Exploring new areas
Exploring new areas can handsomely reward players with gems, cards, and boom boxes, exploring areas may take up from 2 minutes to 1 hour. Most of the areas are experience level dependent so players need to make sure they meet the experience criteria first before exploring new areas.
3. Battling and unlocking various rewards from beach/free pass
When a player enters a battle either winning or losing they are rewarded with stars which helps unlock the various tiers of the beach/free pass tier list. These tier passes have a huge amount of Boom boxes, coins, cards, and artifacts. Note: winning rewards more stars than losing, with Starpool having a capacity of 200 stars and +4 stars replenishing each hour.
4. Purchasing cards and boxes from the shop
If players don’t seem to find the cards they need or if they are simply in need of more new cards then they may also consider purchasing cards and boxes from the shop. Note: players need to upgrade their shop first using elder wood before purchasing cards.
5. Earning XP to level up
Most of the cards in Boom Beach Frontlines are locked behind the experience level wall, with that being the case players need to level up their experience first before getting access to certain cards. XP is earned by playing battles the higher score in battle, the more XP a player gains.
6. Purchasing Beach Pass (optional)
Although spending money on a game might not sound the best thing to do but if you are a low-spender or even a F2P (free-to-play) player considering Beach Pass might be a viable option for faster progress as it’s worth a lot of value.
Considering its value a player can only get a small number of gems for the same price as Beach Pass. Lastly, players should always battle when the Star Pool is full as getting more stars is the only way to fully utilize Beach and Free pass in Boom Beach Frontlines.
