Brawl Stars HARDEST EVER Challenge Guide: Maps, Team Comps and Best Builds

New maps and challenges revealed!

Brawl Stars has recently come out with their HARDEST EVER Challenge in-game. This event is an 18-win event. Players can play with randoms, at a party with clubmates, or with friends. Staying true to its name, this challenge does seem to be one of the more grueling challenges yet. Without further delay, let us see what the rewards for this challenge are. We will see how to get them by playing the best comps possible.

Brawl Stars HARDEST EVER Challenge: Tips and Tricks

In this section of the guide, we will lay out some general tips that players must remember while playing the HARDEST EVER Challenge in Brawl Stars.

Via Brawl Stars Twitter
  • The most basic tip is, of course, to play with a friend. Playing with randoms makes the challenge way harder since team synergy is not guaranteed.
  • If you play with a good random, make sure to add them, and then you can play with them.
  • In the 3v3 maps, maintain a sizeable lead over your opponents, and make sure they never catch up, by adapting to your surroundings as best as you can.
  • Do not put yourself into unnecessarily dangerous situations, and prioritize surviving more than kills in maps where they don’t matter. Even in maps where they do matter, take the kills that are freely available first, and then go for the risky catches.

Brawl Stars HARDEST EVER Challenge: Maps and Best Team Comps

The HARDEST EVER Challenge has 6 different events, with Wipeout being the first event, and Bounty being the last. Let us look at what maps are being used for these events, along with the best team comps and the best builds for them.

Wipeout – Friendly Fire: Off

Team Compositions

  • Carl, Piper, Tick.
  • Leon, Bo, Carl.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Carl: Power Throw, Flying Hook.
  • Piper: Snappy Sniping, Homemade Recipe.
  • Tick: Well-Oiled, Last Hurrah.
  • Leon: Invisiheal, Clone Projector.
  • Bo: Snare-A-Bear, Super Totem.

On this map, since the main objective is to defeat opponents, the Speed and Health recovery gears are the best for the Brawlers.

Gem Grab – Chill Space

Team Compositions

  • Colonel Ruffs, Carl, Penny.
  • Gene, Bonnie, Jessie.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Colonel Ruffs: Air Superiority, Air Support.
  • Carl: Power Throw, Flying Hook.
  • Penny: Heavy Coffers, Salty Barrel.
  • Gene: Magic Puffs, Lamp Blowout.
  • Bonnie: Black Powder, Sugar Rush.
  • Janet: Vocal Warm-Up, Backstage Pass.

Like Wipeout, this map requires mobility and health recovery, especially for the Gem carriers. Hence, the Speed and Health recovery gears are the best choices here.

Hot Zone – Open Zone

Team Compositions

  • Bonnie, Stu, Bea.
  • Crow, Max, Lola.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Bonnie: Black Powder, Sugar Rush.
  • Stu: Gaso-Heal, Speed Zone.
  • Bea: Honeycomb, Honey Molasses.
  • Crow: Extra Toxic, Slowing Toxin.
  • Max: Run N Gun. Phase Shifters.
  • Lola: Improvise, Stunt Double.

This map has a decent amount of bush cover, so the Vision gear is helpful here. The second best gear, as usual, is the Health recovery gear.

Heist- Tornado Ring

Team Compositions

  • Carl, EMZ, Darryl.
  • Bull, Colette, Gale.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Carl: Power Throw, Flying Hook.
  • EMZ: Bad Karma, Acid Spray.
  • Darryl: Rolling Reload, Recoiling Rotator.
  • Bull: Berserker, Stomper.
  • Colette: Push It, Na-Ah!
  • Gale: Freezing Snow, Twister.

The safes here are the main objective, and reaching them quicker than the enemy is important, so the Speed Gear plays a crucial role here. Along with that, dealing with damage to the safe is the priority. Therefore, the damaged gear proves to be a huge help. If players want to be on the safer side, though, then the Health Recovery gear, or Shield Gear, are useful as well.

Brawl Ball – Extra Bouncy

Team Compositions

  • Penny, Carl, Bonnie.
  • Janet, Max, Colonel Ruffs.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Penny: Heavy Coffers, Salty Barrel.

  • Bonnie: Black Powder, Sugar Rush.
  • Janet: Vocal Warm-Up, Backstage Pass.
  • Max: Run N Gun, Phase Shifter.
  • Colonel Ruffs: Air Superiority, Air Support.

In Brawl Ball, speed is the primary factor, so the Speed gear is the best choice. Complimenting the Speed gear is the Shield Gear, which helps the goal-scorer to shield themselves from damage, while they try to score.

Bounty – Overgrown Canyon

Team Compositions

  • Carl, Penny, Piper.
  • Leon, Bonnie, Tick.

Star Powers and Gadgets

  • Carl: Power Throw, Flying Hook.

  • Piper: Snappy Sniping, Homemade Recipe.
  • Leon: Invisiheal, Clone Projector.
  • Bonnie: Black Powder, Sugar Rush.
  • Tick: Well-Oiled, Last Hurrah.

On a Bounty map, damage, mobility, and health recovery are the most important elements. Hence, it is recommended to choose any two of these gears that are suitable for the players, according to the situation.
