Brawl Stars has introduced an exciting new challenge event, the Retropolis Challenge, allowing you to unlock Bibi, the Epic Brawler for free. The event is currently active in the game and will be available until March 19, 2025, offering you 2 Mr. Bat Profile Icons 7 total Starr Drops, and Bibi as the main reward. If you already own her, you will earn 500 Credits instead.
Brawl Stars Retropolis Challenge Event Overview
The Retropolis Challenge is a limited-time event with three stages to complete, similar to Melodie’s Version Challenge, with that challenge having four stages. By completing this challenge, you can obtain Bibi for free, if you don’t own her already, and if you do, you can earn 500 Credits instead.
In all three stages, you will be required to win three matches, achieving a total of 12 wins to complete the challenge and unlock the Brawler, along with the other rewards. The good news is for this event, you are getting Unlimited lives, so you can keep trying till you get all the rewards and Bibi.
How to complete the Brawl Stars Retropolis Challenge event
The process to complete the event is very easy and simple, requiring you to clear just three stages to earn the rewards. Each stage requires three wins to progress to the next one, rewarding you with Starr Drops and Player Icons. Here’s a rundown of the various stages along with tips for completing them and earning all the rewards:
Retropolis Challenge Stage 1: Gem Grab
Gem Grab is a 3v3 mode frequently featured in challenges. In this mode, your goal is to collect Gems that spawn from the Gem Mine at the center of the map, with the team with the most gems winning. The Map for this mode is the Open Space.
For an easier win, you can pick Tick, Mr. P, and Juju to harass enemies with throwables and disrupt their positioning. If you prefer contesting the mid for Gems, Mortis, Ollie, or Kenji are great choices due to their high mobility. Form a team around these Brawlers, to increase your winning chances.
Retropolis Challenge Stage 2: Hot Zone
Hot Zone is a 3v3 game mode where you must capture and hold zones to secure victory. To win the match, your team needs to fully capture the zone before the enemy team. The Map for this mode is the Open Zone map.
For this one, you can consider using Stu, Frank, or Melodie for a strong frontline presence, pushing forward and forcing enemies out of the zone. For control and flanking, Bea, Mr. P, or Shade are good choices. Stu, in particular, is a great pick in this mode.
Retropolis Challenge Stage 3: Knockout
The final stage features the Knockout mode, a 3v3 mode where you must eliminate your opponents in a best-of-three knockout contest. There are no respawns in this game mode, and once defeated, you are out for the rest of the round. The map for this final stage is the New Horizon.
For good control, consider using Piper, Brock, Mandy, or even Spike to dominate the center and take down enemies with their long-ranged attacks. If you prefer a more aggressive play, you can pick Shade, Mortis, or Lily, who are good choices for this map.
Complete the Challenge and unlock Bibi for free
Make sure to complete all three stages of this challenge to unlock Bibi, if you don’t already have her, or receive 500 Credits if you do. Additionally, you can earn 2 Player Icons and plenty of Starr Drops. I got lucky and scored a Mythic Starr Drop, which unlocked the Vamprimo Brawl-O-Ween skin.
This challenge is relatively easier than the previous two since you have unlimited lives, allowing you to keep trying even if you lose a few matches.
