The ongoing June 2023 season of Clash of Clans brings the theme of the notorious greens to the game. The second challenge event of this season, the Goblin Warden Challenge, is a follow-up to the Goblin Queen Challenge introducing yet another interesting base to complete a 3-star attack in Clash of Clans. Of course, many gamers would love to break it down for which we have devised strategies to effectively beat this base.
Introducing the Goblin Warden Challenge in Clash of Clans
Here we have a Town Hall 15 with Scattershots + Monolith combo on both sides, three Inferno Tower trios along with the Town Hall and the Clan Castle in the middle and corners respectively. The defense isn’t that strong at first look, but the attack combination being purely ground is provided with the Warden being the sole hero.
The rewarding pattern is similar to all the previous challenges, but when we consider the loot, it is all good for the players. Along with the extra resources that are provided, players can gain 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Power Potion.
How to beat the Goblin Warden Challenge in Clash of Clans
The base is kinda tricky especially with Town Hall 15 being in the center, so planning to take these both down would be super important in order to get your three stars. Triggering the traps is also essential, so proceed with the tactic explained in this article.
The first step, triggering the traps. You have a poison spell here, so triggering them would be very essential. So, drop two Sneaky Goblins on the bottom side of the base, where the Clan Castle is placed, on two openings. This way, the traps are triggered. On the left and right corners, drop a hog each, which will be helpful to trigger traps and take down the Hidden Tesla as well.
Coming back to the Clan Castle side, use 4-5 Sneaky Goblins on one opening. Do not spread them out, just drop them and once they enter, use an Invisibility Spell to hide them only, and not the Clan Castle. Follow the same way to take out the Town Hall. The first part of your attack is done here.
Move to the top side of the base, where the Inferno Towers are placed. Start with the Warden Walk and rage them both once they are targeted by the Infernos. Remove the skeletons triggered by the traps with the Poison Spell as they approach the Warden. It will be enough to clear the three defensive buildings. Once completed, it is time for the Hog Riders.
This is very essential, so do it carefully. Look at the direction the Warden is moving, so that you deploy the Hog Riders to follow. Activate his ability once all are inside his range and behind them drop the Headhunters. Once a side has been cleared, use the healing spell on the other for the Hogs and deploy the Wizards to clear out the base.
