Vampire Cookie is a popular choice in Guild Battle and Arena of Cookie Run: Kingdom. He’s also a good choice for some stages in Adventure Mode and Boss waves in Alliance. If you’re lucky, you can get him from the Cookie Gacha from time to time, and Soulstones of him might pop up in the Arena Medal Shop or Rainbow Shell Gallery.
However, if luck isn’t on your side, then don’t worry! You can get him from the Mileage Shop. He’s a good pick for intermediate players and up since he has many uses. Once you get him, you should try getting his Magic Candy as soon as you can.
Vampire Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Vampire Cookie’s Skill
Vampire Cookie’s skill consists of attacking the rearmost enemy and using some of the damage taken to heal himself. This makes him a popular choice against strong bosses since they’re usually positioned at the rear. He’s also good in Arena, since the cookies he usually targets are Supports and Healers, and these cookies are necessary for any team’s survival.
Vampire Cookie’s Magic Candy
Vampire Cookie’s Magic Candy can be obtained as soon as you level him to Level 50. Note that you’ll have to manually level him up since a cookie is being put in the Hall of Ancient Heroes but still having an actual level of 49 or below wouldn’t be counted.
His Magic Candy has numerous added effects. A Level 1 candy provides a big damage boost, as well as a bleed debuff that attacks enemies per tick. In addition to the ticks, you can also get a guaranteed crit from Vampire’s second skill and above. This means you’ll get 150% of your normal damage, and if you have good CRIT Damage upgrades in the Sugar Gnome Laboratory and Landmark, you can get up to 190% of your normal damage. The effect for this is most noticeable in guild battle, where just getting a Level 1 candy for Vampire can give you millions of extra damage.
The most recommended Magic Candy is Level 10 since a Level 10 candy unlocks the “revive” effect for Vampire. It’s useful in Arena, since it gives you a free Shining Feather Treasure effect, and lets you attack their healer or support cookie one last time. If Vampire gets healed by your cookies or by Bookseller’s Monocle in time after his revival, he can even survive until the end of the match.
It’s also a good effect for Guild Battle since before having a Magic Candy the most attacks Vampire Cookie can do in the timeframe is two, but with a Level 10 Magic Candy he can do three attacks. Since Crunchy Chip uses melee damage you’d be at a disadvantage.
Best Toppings for the Vampire Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Vampire Cookie is a powerful attacker, so the best topping set for him is Searing Raspberries.
1. Searing Raspberry
Using a full Searing Raspberry topping set on Vampire Cookie gives him the highest amount of ATK possible. Note that a single maxed Epic Searing Raspberry topping provides 9% ATK, and the maximum ATK substat you can get on a topping is 3%. This means that the highest attack boost you can get purely from toppings is 60%. However, it’s really hard to get a 3% ATK substat on a topping, so most players can only realistically expect a 59% ATK topping set on Vampire Cookie.
It’s always best to prioritize ATK and CRIT substats on him, but if you’re using him on Arena then you should also try to get good DMG Resist substats. While he gets a free revive on Level 10 Magic Candy, you’d still want to delay him getting the revive for as long as you can, and it should be treated as a “backup” instead of expecting him to die.
Other Good Topping Substats for Vampire Cookie
Since Vampire is a DPS cookie, these substats would be good to have on him:
- DMG Resist
Another thing to note is that while Juicy Apple Jellies used to be a good topping for him, it’s no longer the case after his Magic Candy’s release. Since there’s a guaranteed CRIT rate for him on his second attack, Juicy Apple Jelly toppings would just hinder his maximum damage potential.
