Gameplay Overview

Cookie Run Tower of Adventures is a lighthearted action game where you assist GingerBrave and Cookie friends to save the Pancake Tower from evil. The gameplay is storyline-driven with fighting elements to add to the adventure. The oven breaks and the cookies escape to save and reclaim their tower. The storyline mode is divided into stages which the train takes you to. In each stage, the game assigns you three-star missions to complete and move on to the next stage.

The star missions are a getaway to more rewards and cause an increase in the Train level. With train levels increasing you keep on unlocking more significant features like game modes in Tower of Adventures. Once you begin the stage, you must keep track of the missions assigned to you.

Completion of any one of the three missions will grant you success and take you to the next stage but achieving three stars will improve your chances of increasing the train level. So, focus on defeating the monsters while collecting Bear Jellies and treasure chests, and focusing on the side missions of the stage as well.

On starting the battle, there are a few controls you must know about along with their functions. You get a joystick on the left-hand side for movement in the area. On the right-hand side, some buttons include attack, dash, and special skills.

These control buttons are used for launching the cookies’ basic attacks, dashing through the area, and releasing their special attacks respectively. During combat, you can also switch between the three cookies you’re playing within your team in times of need. So, employ your strategies well and finish with maximum star missions fulfilled.

Game Modes

1. Story Mode

The story mode is the main game mode of Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures where you can play solo and also with a friend in a Co-op. For a solo game, you have a train that takes you to different floors or say stages of the Pancake Tower.

In each stage, you complete some assigned star missions, fight and win against the boss monsters, and progress with the storyline. For co-op, you just need to add a friend that’s online and start battling with the same rules as of the solo-player adventure

2. Raid Mode

In, Raid mode you get to form a team of four players. You can either form it with your friends or even randomly. The main motive of this mode is, that your team will move to an arena where you’ll have to face a gigantic deadly enemy, or Boss as you may prefer to call it. Within 4 minutes, your team needs to defeat the enemy and clear the round. Defeating the current villain unlocks to way to fight the next one.

3. Glass Labyrinth

Glass Labyrinth is a mode where you need to maintain the Labyrinth of Remembrance. You must defeat foes within the time limit to save the memories stored within the glass labyrinth. Your total score is calculated by adding up the damage you dealt, the monster you’ve defeated, the Round Clear score, the Remaining Time Bonus, and the Recommended Elemental Bonus. You must complete the missions of each labyrinth to acquire great rewards.

4. Seasoning Dungeons

The seasoning dungeons will be released on a seasonal basis in the game. To get on with this game mode, you need to explore various dungeons to get the resources necessary for upgrading the cookies. The difficulty of the dungeon increases as you go on clearing the levels. You must achieve an S+ rank to unlock the next difficulty level. You gain rewards for the first time you reach a certain rank in each difficulty. However, the higher the difficulty, the better prizes you get after completion.

5. Tower Rift

Tower Rift is one of the toughest modes you’ll witness in the game. Here, you need to fight against several waves of enemies till you reach the last level. This mode doesn’t provide any respawns throughout the match time. You’ll get a time limit of 5 minutes. At the end, you’ll be facing the main monster. Defeating it, will end the level and give access to the next one. As you go through levels, the difficulty keeps on increasing

Cookies

The cookies section allows you to view all the cookies available in the game as of now. You can arrange them according to their rarity and figure out which cookie would be suitable for fights at higher and tougher levels. To view the information about any cookie, just tap on it.

You can see the basic stats, along with their skill sets. The section also permits you to level up your cookies, promote them to unlock special skills, and equip artifacts and equipment to enhance the overall strength of any cookie with the availability of sufficient resources.

Gacha

Gacha is the summon section of Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures. You can get Cookies and Artifact cards via this section. The gacha includes standard levels along with epic draws over specific cookies that are powerful such as Cream Soda cookie, Gumball cookie, and Rye cookie.

The artifacts for these cookies also come under a special gacha pull. On a standard level, you must use a basic or special cookie ticket for drawing cookies and an artifact token for drawing artifacts. In shortage, you can also use Crystals to pull gacha.

Index

The Index section allows you to easily look up information about the Equipment and Artifacts. The Equipment includes weapons, headwear, bodywear, and legwear. The Artifacts include power-up cards that enhance the skills of the cookies equipping them.

Also, each time you acquire 1-star Equipment or Artifact, the “times obtained” counter will rise to x5 times. You should apply more copies of these items in various ways to level up your Index entry and receive additional rewards.

Adventure Guide

Adventure Guide is a track of your progress in the game and it also guides you through the tasks or missions in the game initially. Later, it just becomes another way to get your hands on more currency and vital resources.

There are a total of five stages and each one is split into milestones ranging from 1 to 18. As you complete the first stage of the Adventure guide, the next stage unlocks. Completion of all the missions takes you to the grand final reward.

Tower Pass

Tower Pass is the in-game pass of Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures. The game releases new seasons of pass in every fixed interval of 27 days. The rewards are free as well as paid as the Ticket rewards.

You can access the ticket rewards only via purchasing the tickets with real-time transactions. The free rewards are not so bad in themselves. You must complete the Pass Missions to level up the Tower Pass and finish all stages before the season ends.

1. Progress in Story Mode

The story mode is the main mode of Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures. This mode is divided into stages where you have three tasks to fulfill while going through a stage. At any stage, you must explore the floors, meet their inhabitants, and defeat the boss monsters.

You’ll find Bear Jellies and Treasure Chests that are hidden throughout the maps. These can be useful in trading and obtaining useful resources. The focus is on completing the star missions in each stage as you can gain bonus rewards and also unlock important features through this.

2. Follow the Adventure Guide

3. Power up your Cookies
